Walgreens Ad 1/24: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for January 24 - 30, 2016!

Best deals in the 1/24 Walgreens ad

• Hallmark Greeting Cards -- click here to see how you can get three for FREE after all discounts!
• Colgate Total Mouthwash -- click here to see how you can get two for FREE after all discounts!
• Russell Stover Valentine's Day Novelty Candy -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Butterball Chicken Broth -- on sale 2 cans for $1 with in-ad coupon, or just 50 cents apiece.
• Hunt's Tomato Sauce -- also on sale 2 cans for $1 with in-ad coupon, so also just 50 cents apiece.
• Mars, Dove, Skittles, or Starburst Single-Serve Candy -- on sale for 59 cents each.
• Gillette Venus & Olay Shave Gel -- on sale for $3.49, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 1/24 P&G insert.  You'll pay $2.49 out of pocket, and then you'll snag your $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  So your final price drops to just 99 cents!

• Totino's Party Pizza or Pizza Rolls -- on sale 5 for $5, which works out to a buck apiece!
• Mars Minis Candy Bags -- on sale 2 bags for $5, with 3000 Balance Rewards points back when you spend $10 or more.  Buy four bags for $10, then use two $1 off 2 coupons from the 1/24 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $8 out of pocket for all four bags, and then you'll receive your 3000 points towards a future transaction (like $3 in buying power.)  So that's like a final price of $5 for four bags, or $1.25 each!
• Head & Shoulders -- on sale 2 bottles for $10, with 5000 Balance Reward points back (like $5 in buying power) when you spend $20.  Buy four bottles for $20, then use two $4 off 2 coupons arriving in the 1/24 P&G inserts.  You'll pay $12 out of pocket for all four bottles, and then you'll receive your 5000 points towards a later purchase.  So that's like paying $7 for everything, or $1.75 apiece!
