Walgreens Ad 6/29: Best 4th Of July Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for June 29 - July 5, 2014, including some last-minute picks for your Fourth of July party plans.

Best 4th of July deals in the 6/29 Walgreens ad

  • Crystal Light On The Go Drink Mix -- click here to see how you can get paid $1 per box to buy yours!
  • Starbucks Iced Coffee -- on sale for $1, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Use this $1 off coupon to get yours for free, plus earn $1 in RR on the transaction!
  • Starbucks Refreshers -- on sale for $1, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Use this $1 off coupon to get yours for free, plus earn $1 in RR on the transaction!  NOTE: You can only purchase the iced coffee OR the Refreshers in the same transaction, not one of each.
  • Country Time or Kool-Aid Drink Mix -- on sale for $2, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
  • GUM Toothbrushes -- 2-count packs on sale for $2.50 each, with $2.50 back in Register Rewards.  So also free!
  • Walgreens Points Booster Coupon -- watch for this in the weekly ad (I don't know if this will be regional or available nationally.)  If this coupon is available in your area, scan it ONCE at the register, and you will receive 50 points for every $1 spent on Beauty/Personal Care items now through August 30, 2014.  The fine print says the following categories are included: Cosmetics, Beauty, Skin Care, Oral Care, Hair Care, Grooming, Bath, Acne Care, Fragrance, and Travel/Trial.  I am really, really hoping this will be available nationally -- it will make for some great deals!
  • Werther's Original Candy -- on sale 3 bags for $4.  Use three of this $1 off coupon (registration required; multiple computers required) and pay 3 for $1 instead.  That's just 34 cents per bag!
  • Hydrogen Peroxide -- on sale for 34 cents per bottle with in-ad coupon.
  • Pure Silk Shave Cream -- click here to see how you can snag yours for 49 cents per canister through June 30 ONLY!
  • Haribo Gummy Bears -- on sale for 79 cents per bag.  Use this 30 cents off coupon and grab yours for 49 cents.
  • Scope Outlast Mouthwash -- on sale 3 for $9, with $4 back in Register Rewards when you buy all three in the same transaction.  Use three of this $1 off coupon (sort by Personal Care; multiple computers required.)  After coupons and RR, you'll pay $2 for all 3, or 67 cents apiece.  If the Walgreens Points Booster Coupon (see above) is available in your area, you'll also receive 450 Balance Reward points towards a future transaction.
  • Colgate Total Advanced Mouthwash or Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 6/29 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops to 99 cents.
  • Revlon Nail Polish -- on sale for $4.99, with $3 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 6/15 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops to 99 cents.  If the Walgreens Points Booster Coupon (see above) is available in your area, you'll also receive 200 Balance Reward points towards the rest of your transaction.
  • Bisquick or Betty Crocker Cake, Cookies, or Brownie Mixes -- on sale 2 for $3, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So that's like paying a buck per box for yours.
  • Nice! Peanut Butter or Jelly -- on sale 2 for $4, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So that's like spending 2 for $3, or $1.50 each.
  • Fiber One Bars or Brownies -- on sale 2 boxes for $5.  Use two $1 off coupons from the 6/22 Smartsource insert, and pay $1.50 per box instead.
  • Oscar Mayer Wieners -- on BOGO sale 2 for $2.99.  So that's like $1.50 per pack.
  • Sunsweet Dried Apricots -- on sale 2 canisters for $5.  Use two $1 off coupons from the 5/19/13 Smartsource insert (yep, 2013!) and pay $1.50 each for yours.  Otherwise, you can use two of this 75 cents off coupon and get yours for $1.75 apiece.
  • Well At Walgreens Omeprazole -- 42-count packs on sale for $17.99, with a $10 Mastercard code printing at checkout.  So that's like picking up a pack for $7.99!
  • Breyers Ice Cream -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Snuggle Fabric Softener -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 6/1 Red Plum to get a better deal.
  • Simple Cleanser, Wipes, or Moisturizer -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use this $2 off coupon (sort by Personal Care) to drop your price even further.
