Rumor has it that the July 24 newspapers are going to have another big round of coupon inserts!
Word on the street is we will see one Red Plum insert and two Smartsource inserts this weekend (if you don't know what that means, go here for my how-to guide.)
So that means you definitely need to make a point to pick up a couple of newspapers on either Saturday, July 23 or Sunday, July 24!
(Local readers, remember that the San Antonio Express-News Saturday edition does in fact come with coupon inserts.)
As I often say, not getting coupons is one of the biggest mistakes a couponer can make!
Here are some of the big name brands we may see in the July 24 coupon inserts:
- Save 45 cents off Angel Soft toilet paper
- Save $1 on Bic stationery products -- these will make for free pens and Wite Out at Target!
- Save $5 off 2 on Coppertone products
- Save $1 off Edge or Skintimate shave gel
- Save $1 off Glad bags or food storage items
- Save $2 off Huggies diapers
- Save $1 off Irish Spring body wash
- Save $3 off 2 Motrin or Bengay products
- Save $1 off Purell hand sanitizers
- Save $2 off Purina Beyond dry cat food
- Save $1.50 off Quilted Northern toilet paper
- Save $3 off Rachael Ray Nutrish cat or dog food
- Save $3 off Schick razors
- BOGO Speed Stick GEAR deodorant -- we can grab 94 cent deodorants with these coupons at HEB!
- Save $1.50 off Suave Professionals
- Save $2.50 off 2 Tylenol

Remember, I always urge shoppers to physically verify that all of their expected coupon inserts are in the paper before purchasing.
In other words, be sure to stand there and flip through the paper before you check out -- it will save you a lot of heartache!
I also recommend that you snag one set of inserts for each member of your household. So for example, if you have four family members in your house, you would want to get four papers.
That way, you will have enough coupons to really stock up when a terrific sale rolls around!
