Walgreens Ad 6/12: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for June 12 - 18, 2016!

Walgreens is slightly quirky with their policies, so you'll want to be fully prepped before you hit the store.

Also, be sure you check out the new changes to the Balance Rewards program before you start shopping -- I think you'll be pleased!

• Colgate Optic White Toothpaste -- priced at $3 per tube, with $2.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use this 75 cents off coupon.  Pay $2.25 out of pocket, then get your $2.50 back in Register Rewards.  Your toothpaste is FREE, and you earn 25 cents profit on your purchase!
• L'Oreal Advanced Hair Care or Stylers -- on sale for $3.99 each.  Buy two for a pre-coupon price of $7.98, then stack two $2 off coupons from the 6/12 Smartsource inserts with the $1 off Walgreens coupon in the monthly coupon book (these are kept at the front of the store with the weekly ads, and one coupon will take off $1 for each bottle.)  Pay $1.98 out of pocket for both bottles, then submit for this $1 Ibotta rebate (good on the hair care) and this $1 Ibotta rebate (good on the styler).  Both bottles will be FREE!
• Zantac Duo Fusion -- on sale for $8.99 per bottle.  Submit for this Try Me Free rebate (link won't go live until 6/12) and get yours for, well, FREE!
• Almay Cosmetics -- on BOGO 50% off sale, plus on a Spend $20, Get 4000 Balance Rewards points offer.  No prices are listed in the ad, but here's a suggested deal scenario: Buy two tubes of Almay One Coat Nourishing Lengthening Mascara (priced at $7.79 each) and two Almay Intense i-Color Eye Shadow Softies (priced at $4.99 each.)  After the BOGO 50% off sale, all four items will ring in at $20.57.  Next, give two free mascara coupons from the 6/5 Smartsource inserts.  That will knock your out of pocket total down to $4.99 for all four items, and then you'll still receive your 4000 Balance Rewards points to use on your next visit (like $4 in buying power.)  So that's a final price of 99 cents for all four items, or about a quarter apiece!
• Suave Professionals Gold Hair Care OR Suave Professionals 28 oz bottles -- on sale 2 for $6, with 3000 Balance Rewards points back when you buy three in the same transaction.  I recommend buying four gold bottles and two 28 oz bottles for a pre-coupon price of $18.  Use two $3 off 2 coupons for Suave Gold Hair Care and one $2 off 2 coupon for the 28 oz Suave Professionals, all from the 6/12 Red Plum inserts.  Pay $10 out of pocket for all six bottles, then get 6000 Balance Rewards back (like $6 in buying power on your next visit.)  That's a final price of $4 for all six bottles, or 67 cents apiece!
• Vitaminwater, Smartwater, or Dasani Water -- on sale 3 bottles for $3, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy three in the same transaction (like $1 in buying power.)  So that's a final price of $2 for all three, or 67 cents per bottle!
• Hershey's Single Candy Bars -- priced at 69 cents each.
• Chicken of the Sea Chunk Tuna -- on sale for 69 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
• Lunchables Uploaded -- on sale 2 for $3.  Use this $1.50 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast) and pay 75 cents each for yours.
• Bumble Bee Chunk Tuna -- on sale for 85 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
• Smile & Save Paper Plates -- on sale for 99 cents per 64-count bag with in-ad coupon.
• Xtra Liquid Laundry Detergent -- on sale for $1.49 per bottle.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 5/8 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to 99 cents per bottle!
• Starbucks Iced Coffee -- on sale 2 bottles for $3.  Submit for this $1 Ibotta rebate.  Your new price drops to $2 for both bottles, or a buck apiece!
• Wheat Thins, Triscuit, or Ritz Crackers -- on sale 2 boxes for $5.  Use the 75 cents off 2 coupon from the 5/22 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $4.25 out of pocket, and then you can submit for this $1 off 2 Checkout 51 rebate.  That knocks your price down to $3.25 for both boxes, or $1.63 apiece.  Plus new Checkout 51 users will receive an additional $5 bonus on their first rebate!
• Purex Liquid Laundry Detergent -- priced at $1.99 per bottle.
• Skippy Peanut Butter or Welch's Grape Jelly -- on sale 2 jars for $4 (must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.)
• Viva Paper Towels -- on sale for $4.99 per 6-count pack.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/15 Smartsource insert and get yours for $3.99 out of pocket.  Next, submit for the $1 Ibotta rebate and get yours for just $2.99 instead!
• Starbucks K-Cups -- 10-count boxes on sale for $6.99 each, with 3000 Balance Rewards points back (like $3 in buying power on a future transaction) when you spend $15 or more.  Buy three boxes for a pre-coupon price of $20.97, then use this $4 off 3 coupon (sort by Beverages to find it fast.)  You'll pay $16.97 out of pocket, and then you'll still have your $3 in points to use next visit.  So that's a final price of $13.97 for all thre boxes, or just $4.66 apiece!
• Axe or Dove Gift Sets -- on sale for $10 apiece.
• All Liquid Laundry Detergent or Mighty Pacs -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/15 Red Plum insert and pay even less for yours.
• Select Colognes and Fine Fragrances -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
