Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for May 1 - 7, 2016!
Walgreens is slightly quirky with their policies, so you'll want to be fully prepped before you hit the store.
Also, be sure you check out the new changes to the Balance Rewards program before you start shopping -- I think you'll be pleased!
Best deals in the May 1 Walgreens ad
- Old El Paso Taco Sauce, Taco Shells, or Refried Beans -- on sale 2 for $2. Buy six for a pre-coupon price of $6, then use two of this $1 off 3 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.) Your final price drops to $4 for all six items, or just 67 cents apiece!

- Keebler Cookies -- also priced at $1.88 per bag. Use this $1 off coupon (points required) from Kellogg's Family Rewards and grab yours for 88 cents.
- Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna -- on sale for 95 cents per can or pouch with in-ad coupon.
- Colgate Total or Optic White Mouthwash -- priced at $3.49 per bottle, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards. Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 5/1 Smartsource insert. You'll pay $2.49 out of pocket, and then you'll receive your $1.50 in Register Rewards. So your final price falls to 99 cents!
