Walgreens Ad 4/13: Best Easter Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for April 13 - 19, 2014, including quite a few last-minute deals for Easter shoppers.

 Also, be sure to check out the Walgreens ad itself in the newspaper this weekend -- it looks like some regions may receive an in-ad coupon good for 5000 Balance Reward points on any $25 purchase from April 13 - 15, 2014.

Best Easter deals in the 4/13 Walgreens ad

  • Brach's Candy -- click here to see how you can grab two bags for free!
  • Reese's Peanut Butter Cups -- 2-count packs on sale for 59 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Buy three and use the $1 off 3 coupon from the 2/23 Smartsource insert (this was regional) and pay 26 cents per pack instead.
  • Russell Stover Easter Candy -- single-serving sizes on sale 3 for $1, which works out to 34 cents apiece.
  • Nice! Jelly Beans -- on sale for 50 cents per bag with in-ad coupon.
  • Plastic Eggs -- 6 or 12-count bags on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Eggs -- one dozen eggs on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Novelty Easter Candy or Gum -- on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Hershey's Kisses -- on sale 2 for $5.  Buy six bags, and stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon in the April coupon book (will take off $3) with two $2 off 3 coupons from the 4/6 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to $8 for 6 bags, or $1.33 per bag.
  • Easter Bunny Headbands -- on sale 2 for $3, which is like paying $1.50 apiece.
  • Skittles Fun Size Easter Candy -- on sale 2 bags for $4.  Use the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon in the April coupon book, and pay $1.50 per bag instead.

  • Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths -- 10-count packs on sale for $3.99.  Use the $3.99 off coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert, and get yours for free.  NOTE: I fully expect many Walgreens stores will limit customers to two purchases of these per day, in order to minimize shelf-clearing.
  • Morton Epsom Lotion -- on sale for $6, with $6 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
  • Sharpies -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 6 per transaction.
  • Renuzit Adjustables -- on sale for 89 cents each.  Buy six and use the B3G3 Free coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert.  That knocks your price down to 45 cents each.
  • Crest Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 3/30 P&G insert, and your final price falls to 49 cents.
  • Comet Cleanser or Nice! Toilet Bowl Cleaner -- on sale for 50 cents each with in-ad coupon.
  • Jell-O Instant Pudding or Gelatin -- on sale for 50 cents per box with in-ad coupon.
  • Arizona Tea -- on sale for 50 cents per can or bottle with in-ad coupon.
  • Nature Valley Granola Bars -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use the $1.25 off coupon from the 3/30 Smartsource (this was super-regional!) and your new price drops to 74 cents per box.
  • Almay Cosmetic Products -- on sale for $5.99 each.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon in the April coupon book with the $4 off coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to 99 cents.
  • Tresemme Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for $3.99, with 2000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two and use two $2 off coupons from the 3/23 Red Plum insert.  That knocks your final price down to 99 cents per bottle.
  • Daisy Sour Cream -- on sale for 99 cents each with in -ad coupon.
  • Lysol Disinfecting Wipes -- 35-count pack on sale 2 for $5, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  If you have the Answers at Walgreens Cold & Flu Booklet, there's a $2 off 2 Lysol coupon inside you can use.  Your new price after coupon and Balance Reward points drops to a buck per pack!
  • Windex Touch-Up Cleaner -- on sale 2 for $7, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use the BOGO coupon from the 3/16 Smartsource insert.  After coupon and Balance Reward points, your new price falls to $1.25 each.
  • Domino Sugar -- 4lb bags on sale for $1.89 each with in-ad coupon.  Buy two bags, and stack this 75 cents off 2 coupon.  Your new price drops to $1.52 per bag.
  • Home Elements Photo Frames -- on BOGO sale, with prices starting at $3.99 and up.  That means you could buy two frames for as low as $2 apiece.
  • King's Hawaiian Rolls -- on sale 2 bags for $5.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon arriving in the 4/13 Red Plum insert, and grab yours for two bucks per bag.
  • Hellmann's Mayonnaise -- on sale for $3.49 per jar.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 4/13 Red Plum insert and get yours for $2.50 instead.
  • Vidal Sassoon Hair Color -- on sale for $7.99 per box.  Use the $5 off coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert, and get yours for just $2.99.
  • Starbucks K-Cups Packs -- 10-count boxes on sale for $6.99 each.  Buy two and use the $4 off 2 coupon from the 3/9 Smartsource.  That knocks your price down to $4.99 each, or under 50 cents per cup.
  • Patriot Candles Jar Candles -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
