Walgreens Ad 12/22: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for December 22 - 24, 2013.  Note that this is a short ad -- although Walgreens stores will be open on Christmas, the sales will not apply, and then we'll have a new round of deals for the weekend after the holiday.

Best deals in the 12/22 Walgreens ad

• Act II Popcorn -- single-serve bags on sale for 25 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Crest 3D Whitening Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use this 50 cents off Crest coupon (sort by Personal Care to find it fast) and drop your price to 49 cents instead.
• Home Elements Gift Bags -- sale prices starting at 99 cents and up.
• Gallon Of Milk -- on sale for just $2.29!
• Nice! Purified Drinking Water -- 24-count pack on sale for $2.49.  Limit 3 per transaction.
• Clairol Nice N Easy or Root Touch-Up Hair Color -- on sale for $5.99 per box.  Buy two boxes and use the $5 off 2 coupon from the 11/24 Red Plum insert.  Your price falls to $2.49 per box.
• Home Elements Gift Wrap -- on sale 2 rolls for $5.  Must buy two for discount.
• Coca-Cola 12-Packs -- on sale 3 for $10.  So that's like paying $3.34 apiece.  Must buy three for discount.
• Gevalia Coffee -- on sale for $5.99 per bag.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon available in store with the $1.50 off coupon from the 12/15 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to just $3.49 per bag -- excellent deal!
• Children's Toys -- $6.99 toys are all on a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.  So that's $13.98 for three toys, or $4.66 apiece.
• Patriot Jar Candles -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Nivea Body Wash or Personal Care -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  If lotion is included, use two $1 off coupons from the 12/8 Red Plum insert to drop your price even lower.
