CVS Ad 10/13: Best Deals & Sales

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for October 13 - 19, 2013.

Best deals in the 10/13 CVS ad


  • Colgate Total Advanced mouthwash -- 60ml bottle on sale for 99 cents each.  Scan your Extra Care card at the CVS magic coupon machine for a 50 cents off coupon, and pay 49 cents for yours!
  • Ricola cough drops -- on sale for $1.50 per bag.  Buy two and use the $1.50 off 2 coupon from the 10/13 Smartsource insert.  That knocks your price down to 75 cents per bag.
  • Coke 2-liters -- on sale for 99 cents each.  Limit 5 per transaction.
  • Breathe Right -- 10-count box on sale for $3.99, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 10/13 Red Plum insert to get your final price down to just 99 cents.
  • Tums -- 32 to 50-count pack on sale for $3.99, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 10/13 Red Plum insert, and pay 99 cents for yours.
  • Post cereal -- assorted varieties on sale 2 for $5, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10 or more.  So buy four boxes, and use two $1 off 2 coupons.  After coupons and Extra Bucks, your new price drops to $1.25 per box!
  • Garnier Fructis hair care -- priced at $2.99 per bottle.  Use the $1.50 off coupon arriving in the 10/13 Smartsource insert, and get yours for $1.49 instead.
  • Mars Fun-Size candy bags -- on sale 2 for $6, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast) and your final price drops to $1.50 per bag.
  • Advil Congestion Relief or Cold & Sinus -- on sale for $4.95 per box.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 10/13 Red Plum insert and get yours for $1.95 instead.
  • One gallon of milk -- on sale for $3.69, with $1 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's like getting yours for $2.69!
  • Prevacid 24 or Benefiber -- priced at $10.49 each, with $10 back in Extra Bucks when you buy two.  Use the $5 off 2 coupon arriving in the 10/13 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops to $2.99 each after coupons and Extra Bucks.
  • Maxwell House K-Cups -- priced at $5.99 per 12-count box, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10 or more.  So buy two and use two $1 off coupons (sort by Beverages to find it fast.)  After coupons and Extra Bucks, your price drops to just $3.99 per box, which works out to 29 cents per cup!  Note: this is the same deal as the Post cereal above, so you'll have to choose one or the other or possibly mix and match.
  • Wisk laundry detergent -- 32-load bottle priced at $4.99.  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 10/13 Smartsource insert and pay $3.99 for yours.
  • Huggies Little Movers -- on sale for $9.49 per jumbo pack, plus $10 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $30 or more.  Buy four packs for a pre-coupon total of $37.96, then use four of these $2 off coupons (sort by Baby to find them fast; requires multiple computers.)  After coupons and Extra Bucks, you'll pay $19.96 for all four packs, or just $4.99 each!
  • Olay Pro-X Moisturizer -- on sale for $29.99, with a free Olay Pro-X Beauty Bag with purchase (valued at $50!)  Use the $3 off coupon from the 9/29 P&G insert to drop your price to $26.99 for both.  That's like spending $13.50 per item!
  • Simple skin care -- Spend $15 or more, get $5 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but you can use the $2 off coupon from the 9/29 Red Plum insert for additional savings.
