Walgreens Ad 9/8: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for September 8 - 14, 2013.

Best deals in the 9/8 Walgreens ad

• Planters NUT-rition energy mix -- on sale for 99 cents per bag, with 99 cents back in Register Rewards.  So free!
• L'Oreal Advanced hair care -- click here to see how you can spend between 49 cents and 66 cents each for full-sized bottles!
• Garnier Fructis hair care -- on sale for $3.49 per bottle, plus 3000 Balance Rewards points (like $3 in buying power!) when you buy two bottles in the same transaction.  So buy two, and use two $1.50 off coupons from the 8/11 Red Plum.  After coupons and Balance Rewards, your final price drops to 49 cents per bottle.
• Arizona tea -- on sale 2 cans for $1.  So 50 cents each!
• Comet cleanser -- on sale 2 cans for $1.  So 50 cents each!
• Hawaiian Punch -- 64 oz bottles on sale 2 for $3.  If your store carries Hawaiian Punch Aloha Morning, use two of these 75 cents off coupons (sort by Beverages to find them fast.)  Your new price could go as low as 75 cents each!
• Progresso soup -- on sale 2 cans for $2.  Use the 50 cents off 2 coupon from the 9/8 Smartsource insert, and your new price drops to 75 cents per can.
• Mitchum or Lady Mitchum deodorant -- on sale for $1.99 each.  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 9/8 Smartsource insert, and get yours for 99 cents instead.
• Windex Touch-Up Cleaner -- on sale 2 for $7.  Stack the BOGO coupon from the 7/28 Smartsource (expires 9/8!) with the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon available in the September coupon book.  That knocks your price down to $2.50 for both, or just $1.25 each!
• Skippy peanut butter -- on sale 2 jars for $4 with in-ad coupon.  Stack with two of this 55 cents off Skippy coupon and pay $1.45 per jar instead.  Great price!
• Fiber One bars -- on sale 2 boxes for $5.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon (available in the September coupon book at the front of the store) with this $1.10 off 2 Fiber One coupon.  Your price drops to $1.45 per box after stack.
• Post Fruity Pebbles or Honey Bunches of Oats cereal -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Buy two and use this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  That drops your price down to $1.49 per box.
• Clean & Clear skin care -- select varieties on sale 2 for $10, with $4 back in Register Rewards when you buy two in the same transaction.  If the Daily Soothing cleanser is included, you can use two of these $1.50 off coupons and pay a final price of $1.50 per bottle.
• Afrin No-Drip nasal spray -- on sale for $5.99 per box.  Stack the $2 off Walgreens coupon from the September coupon book with this $2 off Afrin coupon.  Your new price drops to $1.99 per box!
• Star Trek Into Darkness -- on sale for $12.99 per DVD beginning Tuesday, September 10.
• Optimum, Dark & Lovely, or Let's Jam hair care and relaxer kits -- Spend $10 or more, get $5 back in Register Rewards.  No prices listed in ad, but use the $1.50 off Optimum coupon from the 8/4 Red Plum insert to drop your price even lower.
• Pond's skin cream or towelettes -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
