Target Ad 3/17: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the Target ad for March 17 - 23, 2013.

Before you prep your shopping list, make sure you read the changes to the Target coupon policy, so you won't have any nasty surprises at checkout.

Oh, and for San Antonio readers -- you can see the complete ad a couple of days early if you pick up the La Conexion newspaper now.  That comes out on Thursday, and now has the ad for the following Sunday.


Best deals in the March 17 Target ad scan
  • Xhilaration women's low-cut socks -- priced at $1.50 per pair, and on BOGO sale.  So buy two pairs and pay 75 cents each.
  • Lean Cuisine Salad Additions -- priced at $2.39 each, with a free Fresh Express bagged salad when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two and use two of the $1 off coupons from the 3/10 Smartsource.  Your price drops to 92 cents per item after sale and coupons.  *stockpile price*
  • Spritz gift bags -- on sale for 99 cents each.
  • Crayola outdoor colored bubbles -- on sale for $2.49 each.  Use the 20% off in-ad coupon and get yours for $1.99.
  • Play-Doh -- 4-packs on sale for $2.49.
  • Littlest Pet Shop Fairies -- on sale for $4.99 each.  Buy two and use the BOGO coupon arriving in the 3/17 Smartsource.  Your new price drops to $2.49 apiece.
  • 7UP, A&W, Sunkist, and Canada Dry soda -- on sale 3 12-packs for $10, with a free Red Baron pizza when you buy three in the same transaction.  So your real price drops to $2.50 per item.
  • Pepsi products -- 12-packs on sale 3 for $11, with a free 12-pack of Diet Pepsi when you purchase three in the same transaction.  So that drops your price to $2.75 per 12-pack.

  • Transformers Beast Hunter toys -- on sale for $10 each.  Use the $3 off $10 coupon arriving in the 3/17 Smartsource and snag yours for $7.
  • Beyblade Hyperblades -- select toys on sale for $9 each.  Use the $2 off coupon arriving in the 3/17 Smartsource and pay $7 instead.
  • Barbie Princess doll with Easter bunny -- on sale for $9 each and a Target exclusive.  Buy two and use this $3 off $15 Barbie coupon (sort by Toys & Games to find it fast.)  Your price drops to $15 for both, or $7.50 apiece.
  • Laser Pegs construction sets -- on sale for $9.99 each, down from $19.99 each.
  • The 20/20 Experience by Justin Timberlake -- on sale for $9.99 per CD, with two Target-exclusive songs added.
  • Hasbro Twister board game -- on sale for $14, with a free Hasbro card game available with purchase.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 3/17 Smartsource insert, and you'll pay $11 for both the board game and the card game combined.
  • Nerf blasters -- on sale for $18, down from $19.99.  Use the 30% off in-ad coupon and get yours for just $12.60.
  • Beneful dog food -- 15.5lb bags on sale for $14.99, with a free box of Beneful Baked Delights dog treats with purchase.  Stack the $2 off Beneful coupon from the 2/10 Smartsource insert, and get both for just $12.99.
  • LeapFrog Tag Junior system -- on sale for $19, down from $29.99.  Use the 30% off in-ad coupon, and your final price falls to $13.30.  That's well over 50% off the original price.

  • Fisher-Price SnugaMonkey -- on sale for $19.  Use this $3 off $15 Fisher-Price coupon (sort by Toys & Games to find it fast.)  Your price drops to $16 instead.
  • Ultimate Disney Princess Collection 7-doll set -- on sale for $50, down from $64.99.  Use the 30% off Disney Princess coupon in the Target ad, and your new price drops to $35.  That's more than 50% off the original price, and works out to just $5 per doll.
  • Xbox 360 4GB system -- on sale for $179.99, with a free $20 Target gift card with purchase.  That means your real price is just $159.99.
  • Video games -- on B2G1 Free sale.  No prices listed, but the ad says there will be 1000+ games across all game systems included in the sale.  Advertised titles include God of War: Ascension, the new Tomb Raider reboot, Gears of War (available on Tuesday the 19th), and more.
