Here's a nice list of 2018 Memorial Day freebies and deals for military personnel and their families!
Many of these offers will be available for active-duty and retired personnel as well as veterans. Some are also even open to first responders like police, firefighters and EMTs!

- Blue Star Museums -- F R E E admission to a multitude of museums around the country for active-duty service members.
- Golden Corral – Enjoy a F R E E Memorial Day Sunrise Breakfast buffet at participating restaurants. I couldn't find a list of which locations are hosting this, so my best advice is to call your local restaurant for more information.
- Hooters -- Military service members can enjoy a F R E E entree from the Hooters Memorial Day Menu, with drink purchase, at any participating Hooters location across the U.S. on Monday, May 28, 2018. Military ID is required.
- JCPenney Portraits -- Snag a F R E E 8X10 standard print with military ID plus printable coupon. Good through June 30, 2018.
- National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass -- get into national parks for F R E E with this offer! Valid for all current U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard as well as Reserve and National Guard members.
- Outback -- Snag 20% off your bill today through May 28 as part of the Outback Operation Homefront program.
- Patriotic Pops San Antonio -- Military, police, firefighters and EMTs can snag 50% off admission on May 25 or May 26 to the San Antonio Symphony Pops performance at the Tobin Center. I took my retired Air Force dad to this several years ago and he loved it!
- San Antonio Zoo -- Free admission throughout May 2018 for all active-duty and retired military, along with veterans! Families can score half-price tickets with dependent ID.
- Schlitterbahn -- Free admission May 28 - June 3 for American first responders! This includes active duty and veteran military, police officers, 911 dispatchers, EMTs, and firefighters. Spouses and dependents can receive 50% off with proof of ID.
- SeaWorld -- Active duty personnel and veterans can grab F R E E admission now through July 4 through the Waves of Honor program. Note that tickets must be reserved online; this offer isn't available at the park gates.
- Texas de Brazil -- Active duty military or veterans can score 50% off their choice of dinner or lunch on Memorial Day itself.
- Walgreens -- Vets, military members, and their families will receive 20% off their purchase on Monday, May 28.
- Wash Tub -- F R E E car wash for active duty military or vets on Monday, May 28 -- just show your ID.
