The Dollar General Thanksgiving & Black Friday ad scan has leaked online!
This sale will run from Thursday, November 24 through Saturday, November 26. For you Thanksgiving Day shoppers, Dollar General will once again be open from 7am to 10pm for the holiday this year.
Here are my top picks for the best deals in the ad:
- Select Socks for the Family -- Buy one pair, get TWO pairs for free! Prices start as low as $1 per pair, which means you could stock up for as little as 33 cents per pair after the sale.
- Purina Beggin' Strips -- 6 oz bags on BOGO sale 2 for $3, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount. Check your 10/9 Smartsource for a regional $2 off Beggin' Strips coupon (since this was regional, not everyone will have received it.) That knocks your new price down to 2 bags for $1, or 50 cents per bag!
- Campbell's Chunky Soup -- on sale for $1 per can (down from $1.95.)
- Indoor/Outdoor Mini Lights -- on sale for $1 per pack, normally $2.95.
- IAMS Dry Dog Food -- on BOGO sale 2 bags for $5.95. Use this $2 off coupon (sort by Pets to find it fast) and pay $3.95 for both bags instead. That works out to $1.98 per bag!
- Dr. Pepper -- 12-packs on sale 2 for $5.
- Plush or Fleece Throws -- on sale for 50% off, with regular prices starting as low as $5. So that's as little as $2.50 per throw!
- Sleep Pants for the Entire Family -- priced at $3 each, originally $6 to $10 per pair.
- Armor All Car Care Kit Gift Pack -- on sale for $5, down from $10. That's 50% off!
- Hanes Fleece Crew or Pants -- on sale 2 for $10, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount. So that works out to just $5 per item.
- AXE, DOVE, Caress, Dial, Tone or Old Spice Gift Sets -- on sale for $7.50 per set, down from $10. We are expecting $2 off Axe and Dove coupons in the 11/20 coupon inserts that can be used on gift sets. So those will drop to $5.50 per pack!
- Men's or Boys' Sherpa Lined Hoodies -- on sale for $10, down from $15.
- Smartwatch -- on sale for $15, down from $25.
- 7-inch Family Tablet -- on sale for $29, down from $50. NOTE: This was one of the lowest prices we saw for a generic tablet in 2015!
