Here's your fine print on the digital coupon for you:
$10 or more (pretax) calculated after all other Dollar general discounts. Limit one per customer. We reserve the right to limit use to normal retail purchases. No cash value. Coupon excludes: gift cards, phone cards, prepaid financial cards, prepaid wireless handsets, Rug Doctor rentals, propane, e-cigarettes, tobacco and alcoholic beverages.
Now, there are obviously loads of different ways to use this coupon, but here's just two deal scenarios to get you thinking:
- Clover Valley® Bottled Water -- 24-count packs on sale for $2.50 each.
- Buy six packs for a pre-coupon price of $15.
- Enter in your DG digital app info to take off your $3 off $15 coupon.
- Your price drops to $12 for all six packs, or just $2 each! That works out to just 8 cents per bottle, which is well below my personal stockpile price of 10 cents apiece.
Now, if you also need Halloween candy, you could do this second deal instead:
- Nestle® Fun Size Assorted Candy -- 16 oz bags on sale for $5, plus on a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale.
- Buy three bags of Nestle Candy plus two packs of bottled water.
- Your pre-coupon price will be $15.

- That knocks your price down to $12.
