You will need to check if your store is participating (good news for local readers: I saw signs promoting the giveway here in San Antonio this past week!)
Limit one cone per person, so if you want to treat the family, you'll need to bring the whole family in.
There's no word whether this offer is available in the drive-thru or if you have to come inside, which probably means it's up to the individual store manager on how they want to handle the giveaways in their stores.
And keep in mind that Free Cone Day is also the same day DQ raises money for the Children's Miracle Network -- so they will definitely appreciate any donations you can give! Last year, the chain raised $140,000 in donations.
