Walgreens Ad 5/17: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for May 17 - 23, 2015!

Best deals in the 5/17 Walgreens ad

• Stride, Dentyne, or Trident Gum -- on sale 3 packs for $2, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy three in the same transaction (that's like $1 in buying power on a future purchase.)  So buy three and use the $1 off 3 coupon from the 5/17 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $1 out of pocket, and then you'll get your 1000 Balance Reward points for next time.  So after all discounts, all three packs of gum are free!
• Bumble Bee Canned White Chicken -- on sale for 89 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Limit 3 per transaction.
• Good & Delish Sweetener -- 100-count boxes on sale for 99 cents each.
• Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Toaster Pastries -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use this $1 off coupon (points required) and grab yours for just 99 cents.
• 7UP, A&W, Sunkist, or Canada Dry 2-Liters -- on sale for $1 per bottle.
• Tresemme Hair Care -- on sale for $3.99 per bottle, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two bottles for a pre-coupon price of $7.98, then use two $2 off coupons from the 5/17 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $3.98 out of pocket, and then you'll get your 1000 points for next time.  So that's a final price of $2.98 after all discounts, or $1.49 each!
• Caress Body Wash -- on sale for $2.99 per bottle.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/17 Red Plum insert.  That drops your price down to $1.99.
• Women's West Loop Tank Tops -- on sale 4 for $10, which works out to $2.50 each!

• DiGiorno Pizzeria Pizza -- on sale 2 for $10.  Use two of this $1.05 off coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  Pay $7.90 for both pizzas, then submit for this 30 cents Ibotta rebate good on any brand of frozen pizza.  Your final price drops to $7.60 for both pizzas, or $3.80 each!
