Walgreens Ad 9/7: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for September 7 - 13, 2014.

Best deals in the 9/7 Walgreens ad

  • Werther's Originals -- on sale 2 bags for $3.  Stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon (available in the September coupon book) with two of this $1 off coupon.  Both bags will be free!
  • Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Liquid -- on sale for 99 cents with in-ad coupon.  Stack the 50 cents off coupon from the 8/31 P&G insert, and pay 49 cents for yours.
  • Arizona Tea or Drink -- on sale for 50 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
  • Nivea Men Face Scrub -- on sale 2 for $7, with $2 back in Register Rewards when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use two $2 off coupons from the 9/7 Red Plum insert.  You'll spend $3 out of pocket for both, and then you'll get your $2 back in Register Rewards.  So that's like 2 for $1, or 50 cents each!
  • Ajax Cleaner -- on sale for 50 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
  • Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner, Treatment or Styling Product -- on sale 2 for $6 (normally $3.99 each) with 3000 Balance Reward points back when you buy $15 or more in the same transactions.  Buy five bottles for a pre-coupon price of $15.99 (the fifth one will be at regular price) and use five $2 off coupons from the 9/7 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $5.99 out of pocket for all five bottles, and you'll earn 3000 Balance Reward points for next time (which is like $3 in buying power.)  So that's a final price of $2.99 for all five bottles, or just 60 cents each!
  • Nice Sandwich Bags -- on sale for 99 cents per box with in-ad coupon.
  • Progresso Soup -- on sale 4 for $5 with in-ad coupon.  Stack this $1 off 4 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast) and get yours for a buck per can instead.
  • Crest Sensi-Relief Toothpaste -- on sale 3 for $10, with $4 back in Register Rewards when you buy three in a transaction.  Use three $1 off coupons from the 8/31 P&G insert, and pay $7 out of pocket.  After your $4 in Register Rewards, that's like paying $3 for 3, or a buck per box!
  • Welch's Concord Grape Jelly -- on sale 3 for $5 with in-ad coupon.  Stack the $1 off 2 coupon from the 7/27 Red Plum insert and get yours for $4 instead.  That works out to $1.34 per jar.
  • Herbal Essences Body Wash -- on sale 2 for $7, with 2000 Balance Reward points back towards a future purchase when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use two $1 off coupons from the 8/17 Smartsource, and you'll drop your out of pocket price down to $5 for both.  After your 2000 Balance Reward points (like $2 in buying power) your final price is just $1.50 per bottle!
  • Outshine Fruit Bars -- on sale 2 boxes for $7.  Use two of this $1 off coupon and pay $2.50 per box instead.
  • Clear Care Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution -- on sale for $8.99 per box.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 8/17 Smartsource insert, and get yours for $5.99.  This brand can retail for up to $13.99 per box, so that's an excellent price!
  • Starbucks K-Cup Packs -- 10-count boxes on sale for $7.99.  Use the $1.50 off coupon arriving in the 9/7 Smartsource insert and pay $6.49 for yours.
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier -- on sale for $16.99 per DVD beginning Tuesday, September 9.
  • Purex -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Caress Body Wash -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 8/24 Red Plum to drop your price even further.
  • Lever 2000 or Suave Body Wash -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Kleenex -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
