CVS Ad 9/14: Best Freebies, Deals & Sales

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for September 14 - 20, 2014.

• CVS.com/rxaccess -- Create an account and earn $3 in Extra Bucks! That $3 in Extra Bucks can be used towards any of the following deals below, to snag you either free or super-cheap buys!
• Palmolive Liquid Dish Soap -- on sale for 99 cents per bottle.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 9/14 Smartsource insert, and get yours for just 49 cents.
• Progresso Soup -- on sale for $1.49 per can.  Scan your Extra Care card for a 50 cents off CVS coupon, then stack it with the 50 cents off coupon from the 9/7 Smartsource insert.  Your final price drops to 49 cents!
• Alberto V05 Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for 77 cents per bottle.  Buy two and use the 50 cents off 2 coupon from the 8/3 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to 52 cents per bottle.
• 7UP, A&W, Canada Dry, or Sunkist Soda -- 2-liters on sale for 99 cents each.  Scan your Extra Care card for a 30 cents off CVS coupon, and pick up your choice for 69 cents.
• Yardley Bar Soap -- on sale for 69 cents each.
• Colgate Enamel Health Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99 each.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 9/14 Smartsource insert, and get yours for a final price of 99 cents.
• Kellogg's Cereal -- on sale 4 boxes for $8.  There should be a regional coupon in the 9/14 Smartsource insert for a FREE gallon of milk when you buy four boxes of cereal.  So if you can get your hands on that coupon, you can get all five items for $8.  Then it looks like the gallon of milk may have a $1 back in Extra Bucks.  So your final price for all five items will be $7, which works out to just $1.40 each!
• Lancaster Soft Cremes -- on sale for $3 per bag, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15.  So buy five bags for $15, then use five of the $1 off coupons from the 8/10 Smartsource insert.  That knocks down your price to $10, and then you'll get your $3 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's a final price of $7 for all five items, or $1.40 per bag.  That's more than 50% off!
• Smucker's Jam -- on sale 2 for $4.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 8/10 Red Plum insert and pay $3 for both, or $1.50 apiece.
• Herbal Essence Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale 2 for $6.  Use the BOGO coupon from the 9/14 Smartsource insert and get yours for $1.50 per bottle.
• Softsoap Brand Body Wash -- on sale for $3.50 per bottle, with a free $10 CVS gift card back when you spend $30 or more.  So buy 9 bottles for a pre-coupon price of $31.50 (which will be plenty to trigger your gift card) then use 9 75 cents off coupons from the 9/14 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $24.75 out of pocket, then you'll receive your free $10 CVS gift card.  So that's like getting yours for $14.75, or just $1.64 per bottle.  NOTE: The Softsoap coupons usually only allow you to use two per transaction, so you would have to split up your transactions in order to do this deal.
• Clairol Nice N Easy or Root Touch-Up Hair Color -- on sale 2 for $12.  Use the BOGO coupon in the 8/31 P&G, and knock your price down to $3 per box.
• Gevalia or Maxwell House K-Cups -- 12-count boxes on sale for $6 each, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10 or more.  So buy two for $12, then get your $3 back in Extra Bucks.  So your final price is $9 for two boxes, or $4.50 each.  That works out to just 38 cents per K-Cup!

• Bumble Bee Canned Tuna -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.

• Select Gold Emblem Nuts -- assorted varieties on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• CoverGirl Cosmetics -- Spend $15 or more, get $5 back in Extra Bucks.  We had assorted coupons back in the 8/31 P&G insert you can use for an even lower price.
