Walgreens Ad 7/6: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for July 6 - 12, 2014, including a whopping four freebies, plus an early round of cheap back to school deals on basic supplies like glue and pencil sharpeners.

Best 4th of July deals in the 7/6 Walgreens ad

• Gold Peak Tea -- on sale for $1.49 per bottle, with $1.49 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
• Mitchum or Lady Mitchum Deodorant -- on sale for $2.99 each, with 2000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two for a pre-coupon price of $5.98, then use two $2 off coupons from the 6/8 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to $1.98, then you'll receive your 2000 points (like $2 in buying power.)  Both are free!
• Naked Juice -- on sale 2 for $5 with in-ad coupon.  Buy two and stack two of this $1 off coupon.  Pay $3 for 2 out of pocket, then submit for the two $1 Ibotta rebates available, along with the $1 Shopmium rebate.  You'll get both juices for free!
• Mueller Kinesiology Pre-Cut Strips or Tape -- on sale for $6.99 per box, with $6.99 back in Register Rewards.  Also free!

• Walgreens Points Booster Coupon -- watch for this in the weekly ad (I don't know if this will be regional or available nationally.)  If this coupon is available in your area, scan it ONCE at the register, and you will receive 50 points for every $1 spent on Beauty/Personal Care items now through August 30, 2014.  The fine print says the following categories are included: Cosmetics, Beauty, Skin Care, Oral Care, Hair Care, Grooming, Bath, Acne Care, Fragrance, and Travel/Trial.  I am really, really hoping this will be available nationally -- it will make for some great deals!
• Wexford 2-Pocket Folders or Eraser Caps -- on sale for 17 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• 7UP & A&W Soda -- 2-liter bottles on sale for $1 each.  If your store carries the TEN varieties, buy two of those and use this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Beverages to find it fast.)  Your new price drops to a quarter per bottle.
• ACT II Popcorn -- on sale 4 packs for $1 with in-ad coupon.  That works out to just 25 cents per pack!
• Wexford School Glue or Index Cards -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Wexford Compass or Pencil Sharpener -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Hunt's Tomato Sauce -- on sale 2 for $1 with in-ad coupon.
• Butterball Chicken Broth -- on sale 2 for $1 with in-ad coupon.
• Barilla Italian Entrees -- on sale 2 for $3.  Use two of this 75 cents off coupon and pay $1.50 for both instead, which works out to 75 cents apiece.
• Wexford Pencils -- 20-count pack on sale for 99 cents each.
