Walgreens Ad 6/1: Best Freebies, Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best freebies and deals in the Walgreens ad for June 1 - 7, 2014.

Best deals in the 6/1 Walgreens ad

• Reach Advanced Design or Total Care Toothbrushes -- single count or twin-packs on sale for $2.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  If you can find the twin-packs in store, use the $2 off coupon from the 5/4 Smartsource insert.  You'll spend 99 cents out of pocket, then receive $2 in Register Rewards, which makes that a $1.01 money-maker!  If your store only has single count packs left on the shelf, use the $1 off coupon from the 5/4 Smartsource insert to make yours free after Register Rewards.
• Butterball Turkey Bacon -- priced at $1.49 per pack.  Use this $1 off coupon and pay 49 cents for yours.
• Suave For Men Body Wash -- on sale BOGO 50% off, with 1000 points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  Stores should have these priced at $2 and up.  So buy two for a pre-coupon total of $3 after the BOGO 50% off sale, then use two 50 cents off coupons from the 5/18 Red Plum insert.  You'll spend $2 for both, then receive your 1000 Balance Reward points back towards a future transaction.  So that's like paying a buck for both, or 50 cents each!
• Butterball Chicken Broth -- on sale for 50 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
• Werther's Original Caramels -- on sale 2 bags for $3.  Use two of this $1 off coupon (registration required) and get yours for 50 cents apiece instead.
• Crystal Light Drink Mix -- normally $2.29 per box, but click here to see how you can pick yours up for 50 cents per box instead.
• Scunci Hair Accessories -- on sale for $2.99 each, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  So that's like 99 cents each.
• Colgate Mouthwash, Toothpaste, or Toothbrush -- on sale for $3.49, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 6/1 Smartsource, and get the item of your choice for just 99 cents.
• Arm & Hammer or Arrid Extra Dry Deodorant -- on sale for 99 cents each.
• Bisquick Baking Mix or Betty Crocker Brownie Mix -- on sale 2 for $3, with 1000 Balance Reward points back towards a future transaction when you buy two boxes.  So that's like a final price of a buck per box.
• Kraft Mayo or Miracle Whip Dressing -- on sale for $2.99 per bottle, with 1000 Balance Reward points back towards a future transaction.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 5/11 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops to $1.24 for yours.
• All Laundry Detergent -- 28 to 40 load bottles on sale for $2.99 each.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 6/1 Red Plum insert, and pay $1.99 for yours.  That's as little as a nickel per load, depending on the size you buy!
• Ocean Spray Drink or Juice -- on sale for $2.99 per bottle.  Use the $1 off coupon from the June Walgreens coupon book, and pay $1.99 instead.
• Tide Detergent -- normally $5.99 per bottle, but click here to see how you can pay $2.74 each for yours.  NOTE: This is original Tide, not Tide Simply Fresh & Clean!
• Purina Beneful Dog Food -- 3.15 to 4.4 pound bags on sale for $5.99 each.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 4/27 Smartsource insert and get yours for $3.99.
• iTunes or Apple Gift Cards -- Buy a $50 gift card, get a $10 Walgreens gift card for free with purchase.  Limit one per transaction.
