Walgreens Ad 5/18: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for May 18 - 24, 2014.

Best deals in the 5/18 Walgreens ad

  • Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Microwave Singles -- on sale for $1.99, with $1.99 back in Register Rewards.  There was a regional 60 cents off coupon from the 2/23 Smartsource insert (we didn't receive this in San Antonio, but some of the local clipping services had it available to order.)  If you happen to have that coupon, this will be a 60-cent money-maker!
  • Capriclear 100% Coconut Oil Spray -- on sale for $8, with $8 back in Register Rewards.
  • St. Joseph's Low-Dose Aspirin -- on sale for $2 per box, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy a box (that's like $1 in buying power on a future transaction.)  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource insert (may be regional?) and get your box for free!
  • Trident Gum -- on sale 3 packs for $2.  Use the $1 off 3 coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource insert (may be regional?) and pay $1 for 3 packs instead.  That works out to just 34 cents apiece.
  • Sharpies -- on sale for 49 cents apiece.
  • Brut Antiperspirant/Deodorant -- priced at $1.49 each.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource insert and grab yours for 49 cents.
  • Sure Antiperspirant/Deodorant -- also priced at $1.49 per tube.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource insert and pay just 49 cents for yours.
  • Hershey's Spreads Snacksters -- on sale 4 for $5, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy four in the same transaction.  Use four of this 50 cents off coupon (sort by Food; requires multiple computers.)  You'll pay $3 out of pocket, then earn your $1 in buying power on a future transaction.  So that's like $2 for all four, or 50 cents apiece.
  • Suave Body Lotion -- 18 oz bottles on sale for $2.50 each.  Use the $1.50 off coupon from the 5/18 Red Plum insert and grab yours for just a buck.
  • Yardley Shower Gel or Soap Multi-Packs -- on sale for $3 per bottle, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two bottles in the same transaction.  So buy two for a pre-coupon price of $6, then use two $1 off coupons from the 5/18 Smartsource insert.  Your price after coupons and Balance Reward points falls to $1.50 apiece.  So that's like creating your own BOGO deal!
  • Domino Sugar -- 4-lb bag on sale for $1.89 each with in-ad coupon.
  • Infusium 23 Hair Care -- on sale for $3.99 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 5/18 Smartsource insert and get yours for $1.99 instead.
  • Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  We may see $1 off coupons in the 5/18 Smartsource insert that we can use for an even lower price.
  • Vanity Fair Napkins -- 100-count packs on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 4/6 Red Plum insert to drop your price even further.
  • Dixie Plates, Bowls, or Cups -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  We may see either a $1 off 2 coupon or a 55 cents off coupon in the 5/18 Red Plum insert that we can use for an even better price.
  • Chex Mix -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the 50 cents off 2 coupon from the 4/13 Smartsource insert to pay even less for yours.
  • Blue Diamond Almonds -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the 75 cents off 2 coupon from the 4/6 Smartsource insert for a better deal.
  • Oscar Mayer Wieners -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Nerf Toys -- select varieties on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
