Walgreens Ad 5/4: Best Mother's Day Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for May 4 - 10, 2014, including some very good deals on Mother's Day gifts.

Best deals in the 5/4 Walgreens ad

• Colgate Optic White Platinum Toothpaste -- on sale for $3.99, with $2.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use this $1.50 off coupon (sort by Personal Care to find it fast) and get yours for free!
• Pink Water Personal Lubricant -- on sale for $9, with $9 back in Register Rewards.
• Technu Corticool Anti-Itch Gel -- on sale for $5, with $5 back in Register Rewards.
• Wrigley's 5 Gum -- on sale for 99 cents per pack.  Buy two packs for $1.98, then stack the $1 off 2 Walgreens coupon from the May coupon book with two 50 cents off coupons from the 4/6 Red Plum insert.  Both will be free!
• Ajax Cleansers -- on sale 2 for $1, which works out to 50 cents per can.
• Garnier Fructis Hair Care -- on sale 2 for $6, with 2000 Balance Reward points back when you buy $10 or more in a single transaction.  So buy four bottles for a pre-coupon price of $12, then use four $2 off coupons that should be arriving in the 5/4 coupon inserts.  You'll pay $4 out of pocket, then receive your $2 in Balance Reward points for a future purchase.  So that's like paying 50 cents per bottle when all is said and done!
• Pure Silk Shaving Cream -- on sale for $1.29 per bottle.  We should be receiving a 50 cents off coupon in the 5/4 coupon inserts that will drop your price down to 79 cents.
• Nice! Aluminum Foil -- on sale for 99 cents per box.
• Nice! Plastic Cutlery -- on sale for 99 cents per box with in-ad coupon.
• Hormel Compleats -- on sale 2 for $5, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use two $1 off coupons (sort by Food to find them fast) and get yours for a buck each after coupons and Balance Reward points.
• Got2B Hair Stylers -- on sale for $3.99 each.  We should be seeing a $2 off coupon arrive in the 5/4 coupon inserts that will drop your price down to $1.99 instead.
• DeMets Turtles -- on sale 2 boxes for $6.  Buy two and use two $1 off coupons.  Your new price drops to $2 per box.  I know a LOT of you guys love this chocolate, so stock up!
• Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Lunch Meat -- on sale 2 for $5.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find them fast) and pay two bucks each for yours.
• Russell Stover Boxed Chocolates -- on sale for $3.99 per box.  Limit 3 per customer.
• Well Beginnings Diapers or Training Pants -- jumbo packs on sale for $5.99, with 1000 Balance Reward points back.  So that's like paying $4.99 for your pack of diapers or trainers!
• Nexxus Hair Care -- Spend $20 or more, get $10 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $6 off coupon from the May 2014 issue of Glamour magazine for additional savings!
• Hefty Slider Bags -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Household to find it fast) to lower your price even further.
• Right Guard Total Defense 5 or Xtreme Product -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use two $1.50 off coupons from the 4/27 Red Plum insert to get an even better deal.
• Select Women's Perfumes and Fragrances -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Purex Laundry Detergent -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Home Elements Photo Frames -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
