CVS Ad 5/4: Best Mother's Day Deals & Sales

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for May 4 - 10, 2014, including some terrific gift ideas for Mother's Day.

Best deals in the 5/4 CVS ad

• Zantac -- assorted sizes on sale for $17.99 per box.  Use the $4 off coupon from the 3/23 Smartsource to pay $13.99 out of pocket, then submit for the CVS Trey Me Free rebate that will be live to print beginning May 4.  Your box will be free!
• Lindt Excellence Chocolate Bars -- on sale for $2.50 each.  Submit for your Try Me Free Shopmium rebate and get yours for free!
• Wet N Wild Cosmetics -- priced starting at 99 cents each, plus on a B2G1 Free sale.  So buy three for $1.98 and use two $1 off coupons from the 4/13 Red Plum insert.  All three will be free!
• All Fragrances -- Spend $20 or more, take $5 off with coupon printing from the CVS magic coupon machine.  No prices listed in  ad, but there will be a BOGO 50% off sale to stack along with this coupon.
• Orbit Gum -- on sale for $1 per pack.  Buy two and use the 75 cents off 2 coupon from the 3/2 Red Plum insert.  That drops your price to 63 cents per pack.
• Renuzit Adjustables -- on sale for 99 cents each.  Buy three and use this $1 off 3 coupon.  That knocks your price down to 66 cents each.
• Nature Valley Granola Bars -- priced at $2.99 per box, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15 or more.  Buy five boxes for $14.95 (which will still trigger your Extra Bucks.)  Then use five $1.25 off coupons from the 4/13 Smartsource insert (this was regional, but we received it here in the San Antonio Express-News inserts.)  You'll pay $8.70 out of pocket for all five boxes, and then you will receive $5 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's like paying $3.70 for everything, or just 74 cents per box!
• Colgate Mouthwash -- on sale for $3.99 per bottle, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 4/27 Smartsource insert, and pay 99 cents for yours.
• Garnier Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for $2.99 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon arriving in the 5/4 coupon inserts, and grab yours for 99 cents.
• Soft Scrub Cream Cleansers -- on sale for $2.50 per bottle.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for $1.50 instead.

• M&Ms -- on sale 2 bags for $6, with a $2 off 2 CVS coupon printing at the CVS magic coupon machine.  Use the $1 off 2 M&Ms coupon arriving in the 5/4 coupon inserts, and your final price falls to $1.50 per bag.
• Tide Clean & Fresh -- click here to see how you can snag bottles for $1.94 each!
• Got2B Hair Stylers -- on sale for $3.99 each.  We should be seeing a $2 off coupon arrive in the 5/4 coupon inserts that will drop your price down to $1.99 instead.
• Milk -- One gallon jugs on sale for $3.79, with $1 back in Extra Bucks.  Submit for the 50 cents Ibotta rebate, and your final price falls to $2.29.
• Just The Basics Purified Water -- 24-count packs on sale for $2.44.  So that's a dime per bottle.  Limit 3 per transaction.
• GAP, Old Navy, or Banana Republic Gift Cards -- Spend $50 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.  If you can afford it, I recommend snagging these, then using them with coupons to do your summer or back to school clothes shopping!
• Neutrogena Facial Care, Suncare, or Personal Cleaning Products -- Spend $30 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks plus a free tote bag while supplies last.  No prices listed in ad, but use the $1 off coupons from the 4/13 Smartsource insert for additional savings.
• Nexxus Hair Care -- Spend $20 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $6 off coupon from the May 2014 issue of Glamour magazine for additional savings!
• Dulcolax Products -- Spend $20 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but use this $3 off 2 coupon to get an even lower price.
• Hallmark Products -- Spend $20 or more, get $5 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this $2 off CVS coupon good on three or more Hallmark cards for additional savings.
• All Revlon Cosmetics -- Spend $10 or more, get $3 back in Extra Bucks. Use the $1 off Revlon coupons from the 4/27 Smartsource insert (this was regional, but we received it here in San Antonio) for a better price.
• Whitman's or Russell Stover Boxed Chocolates -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• All Custom Photo Books -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
