Walgreens Ad 3/9: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for March 9 - 15, 2014.

Best deals in the 3/9 Walgreens ad

  • Colgate Toothpaste -- on sale for $3, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/9 Smartsource insert, and grab a tube for free.
  • Contour Next EZ Blood Glucose Monitor -- on sale for $9.99, with 5000 Balance Reward points back (like $5 in buying power.)  Use the $5 Walgreens coupon from the Answers At Walgreens Diabetes Care book and get yours for free.
  • ACT II Popcorn -- on sale 4 single packs for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So that's paying 25 cents per pack!
  • Sun-Maid Raisins -- on sale for $2.50 per full size canister, but click here to see how you can grab yours for 50 cents apiece!
  • Nutella Hazelnut Spread -- on sale 2 for $7.  Use the BOGO coupon from the 2/2 Smartsource insert to pay $3.50 for both at the register, then submit for the $2 off Shopmium rebate.  That gets you jars for 75 cents each.
  • Wonka Sweet Tarts -- on sale for $2 per bag.  Buy six bags for a pre-coupon price of $12, then stack the $1 off 2 coupon in the March Walgreens coupon book (will take off $3) with two of this $2 off 3 Wonka coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  Your price drops to $5 for all 6 bags, or 83 cents per bag.
  • Nestle Coffee-Mate Liquid Creamers -- on sale 2 for $3 with in-ad coupon.  Stack the $1.25 off 2 coupon from the 2/9 Smartsource insert, and pay 88 cents per bottle for yours.
  • Colgate Mouthwash -- on sale for $3.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/9 Smartsource insert, and your new price falls to 99 cents.
  • Speed Stick Deodorant -- on sale for $1.99 each.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/9 Smartsource insert, and get yours for 99 cents instead.
  • Irish Spring Body Wash -- on sale 2 for $7, with $4 back in Register Rewards.  So buy two and use two 50 cents off coupons from the 3/9 Smartsource insert.  That knocks your final price down to a buck per bottle.
  • Campbell's Homestyle Soup -- on sale 2 for $3.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 1/12 Smartsource insert and pay a dollar per can.
  • Wet Ones wipes -- 40-count canisters on sale 2 for $4, with 500 Balance Reward points back when you buy two.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon, and your final price after coupon and points drops to $1.25 per canister.
  • Keebler Townhouse Crackers -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 1/26 Red Plum insert.  That drops your price down to $1.49 per box.
  • Green Mountain Coffee K-Cups -- 12-count boxes priced at $5.99.  Use the $1.50 off coupon from the 3/2 Smartsource insert, and pay $4.49 instead for yours.  That works out to 38 cents per cup, which is quite a good price for K-Cups!
  • Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1.50 off 2 coupon from the 2/9 Smartsource insert to drop your price even lower.
  • Nivea Men Body Wash -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use two of the $1 off coupons from the 3/2 Red Plum for an even better deal.
