CVS Ad 3/23: Best Deals & Sales

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for March 23 - 29, 2014.

Best deals in the 3/23 CVS ad

• Zantac 150 -- click here for a possible $4 money-maker!
• Just The Basics Single Paper Towel Roll -- on sale for 79 cents each.  Scan your Extra Care card for a 79 cents off CVS coupon and get yours for free.
• Physicians Formula Cosmetics -- $10 back in Extra Bucks when you buy two or more.  Some readers have already reported receiving a $7 off CVS coupon from the CVS Coupon Center.  If you have that, you should be able to buy two items priced at $8 or less and get both for free after coupons and Extra Bucks.  Otherwise, look for items in the $5.79 range and get them for 79 cents each after Extra Bucks.
• Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Hair Care -- on sale for $5 each, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15 or more.  So buy three (split into two transactions) and use three $2.50 off coupons arriving in the 3/23 Red Plum insert.  Your price after coupons and Extra Bucks drops to 83 cents per item.
• Pepsi 2-Liters -- on sale for 99 cents each.  Limit 5 per transaction.
• Cheerios -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/16 Smartsource insert (this was a regional coupon) and pay 99 cents for yours.
• Suave Body Wash -- on sale for $2 each, with $4 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $12 or more.  So buy six and use two $1 off 2 coupons from the 3/9 Red Plum insert.  Your price drops to a buck per bottle after coupons and Extra Bucks.
• M&Ms or Dove Candy -- on sale 4 bags for $12, with $4 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this $2 off 3 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast) and drop your price down to $6 after Extra Bucks.  That works out to $1.50 per bag!
• Tide Simply Clean & Fresh -- 25-load bottles on sale for $3.99 each.  Buy two and use the $3 off 2 coupon from the 3/23 Red Plum insert (the coupon is good for 40 oz bottles, which is the same as the 25-load size.)  So your price drops to $2.49 each, or a dime per load!
• Duracell Batteries -- AA or AAA batteries on sale 2 for $8, with $2 back in Extra Bucks.  Use two 50 cents off coupons from the 3/2 P&G insert, and your final price drops to $2.50 per pack after coupons and Extra Bucks.
• Afrin Nasal Spray -- on sale for $5.99 per box.  Use the $3 off coupon arriving in the 3/23 Smartsource insert and get yours for $2.99 instead.
• Dove Body Wash -- 24 oz bottles on sale 2 for $15, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $15 or more.  So buy two and use two $2 off coupons from the 3/23 Red Plum insert.  Your price after coupons and Extra Bucks falls to $3 per bottle.

• CVS Diapers or Training Pants Jumbo Pack -- on sale for $6.99, with $3 back in Extra Bucks.  So that's like spending $3.99 for yours.  Limit 1 per Extra Care card.
• Wisk, Snuggle, or All laundry products -- on sale Buy 1 Get 2 Free, and you can mix and match!  No prices listed in ad, but you could use any of the following coupons to drop your price lower: the $1.50 off Wisk coupon from the 3/9 Red Plum insert, the 50 cents off Snuggle coupon from the 3/16 Red Plum insert, or the $2 off 2 All coupon from the 3/2 Red Plum insert.  Limit 6 per transaction.
• Pet Central Scoopable Cat Litter -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Benadryl Topical Product -- get $2 Extra Bucks back with purchase, no prices listed in ad.  Use this $1 off Benadryl coupon to drop your price further.
• Nexxus Hair Care -- Spend $20 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad.
