Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for August 11 - 17, 2013.

Back to school deals in the 8/11 Walgreens ad

• Wexford 2-pocket folders -- on sale 7 for $1, which works out to 14 cents each.
• Paper Mate mechanical pencils -- on sale for 49 cents per 10-count pack.
• Wexford scissors -- on sale for 49 cents each.
• Sharpie highlighters -- 2-count packs on sale for 79 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Backpacks or tote bags -- on BOGO sale 2 for $10.99.
• Mead Five Star notebooks -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 8/4 Smartsource for an even better price.
