Target Ad 2/17: Best Sales & Deals For President's Day Weekend

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the Target ad for February 17 - 23, 2012, including a ton of great deals on housewares and appliances as part of their 2013 Presidents Day sale.

Before you prep your shopping list, make sure you read the changes to the Target coupon policy, so you won't have any nasty surprises at checkout.

Best deals in the Target 2/17 ad scan
  • Select General Mills Cereal -- on sale for $2.50 each, with a free $5 Target gift card when you buy five boxes.  Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios are shown in the ad.  So buy five boxes of Cheerios, and use five of the 50 cents off coupons from the 1/27 Smartsource insert.  Your price after coupons and gift card falls to just a buck per box!  *stockpile price*
  • Dove Deodorant -- on sale for $3.49 each, with a free $5 Target gift card when you purchase four select personal care items.  So buy four, and use four of this $1 off Dove coupon.  Your price drops to $1.24 each after coupons and gift card.
  • TRESemme Shampoo or Conditioner -- 39 oz bottles priced at $5 each, with a free $5 Target gift card when you purchase four select personal care items.  So buy four, and use two of the BOGO coupons from the 1/27 Red Plum (expires 2/20.)  Your price drops to $1.25 each after coupons and gift card.
  • Simple Facial Towelettes --  25 ct packs priced at $4.78, with a free $5 Target gift card when you purchase four select personal care items.  So buy four, and use four of the $2 off Simple coupon available on Facebook (requires multiple Facebook accounts and computers.)  Your new price after coupons and gift card drops to just $1.53 per pack!  *stockpile price*
  • Purina Tidy Cats Instant Action Litter -- 20 lb pail on sale for $6.99.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 1/27 Red Plum and pay $5.99.
  • CorningWare 6 pc Bakeware Set -- on sale for $34.99, with a free $10 Target gift card with purchase.  So that's like paying $24.99 for yours.  Great wedding gift!
  • Bella Dots 12 cup Coffeemaker -- on sale for $34.99, with a free $10 Target gift card with purchase.  So that's like paying $24.99 for yours.
  • OXO SoftWorks 17 pc Culinary Tool & Utensil Set -- on sale for $39.99, with a free $10 Target gift card with purchase.  So that's like paying $29.99 for yours.  
  • Keurig K-Cup B60 Special Edition -- on sale for $149.99, with a free $30 Target gift card with purchase.  So that's like paying $119.99 instead.
  • Dyson DC41 Animal Complete Vacuum -- on sale for $649.99, with a free $130 Target gift card with purchase.  RedCard holders save an extra 5%, which means your final price could go as low as $487.49 after discount and gift card.  I bought this vacuum on Black Friday for about the same price -- do not miss this deal if you're in the market for it!
