Walgreens Ad 1/13: Best Deals & Sales

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for January 13 - 19, 2013.

Freebies in the 1/13 Walgreens ad scan

• Estroven Nighttime -- 24-count bottles on sale for $10, with $10 back in Register Rewards.  There's apparently a $2 off Estroven coupon in the Walgreens Vitamins & Supplements booklet (I haven't found this book in stores recently, but you might ask the pharmacist for a copy.)  If you track down that coupon, this is a $2 money-maker!
• High-T testosterone pills -- 30-count bottles on sale for $10 each, with $10 back in Register Rewards.
• Lindsay olives -- on sale for 99 cents each with in-ad coupon.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for free after stack.
• Lipton Tea -- choose from Pure Leaf, Iced, or Green Tea for $1 per bottle, with $1 back in Register Rewards.
• Mangodrin Extreme Weight Loss supplements -- 30-count bottle on sale for $10, with $10 back in Register Rewards.

Best deals in the 1/13 Walgreens ad scan

• Crest Pro-Health mouthwash -- on sale for $2.99 per 16.9 oz bottle, with 4000 Balance Rewards points back when you buy three in the same transaction.  Use three $1.50 off coupons from the 12/30 P&G insert.  After coupons and Balance Rewards, your final price is 47 cents for all three bottles -- or just 16 cents each!  *stockpile price*
• Russell Stover single-size Valentine's candy -- on sale for 39 cents each with in-ad coupon.
• Thermacare wraps -- on sale for $4.99 per pack, with 4000 Balance Rewards back when you buy three in the same transaction.  Use three $2 off coupons from the 12/9 Red Plum insert, and your final price drops to $1.66 each.
• Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh lunchmeat -- on sale 2 for $6, with 1000 Balance Rewards points back when you buy two.  Stack the $1 off 2 coupon from the 1/6 Smartsource, and your final total after coupon and Rewards drops to $2 each.
• Pepsi 12-packs -- on sale 4 for $12, with 3000 Balance Rewards points back when you spend $15 or more in the same transaction.  So buy five 12-packs, and your final price after Rewards points drops to $2.40 per 12-pack.
• Walgreens brand diapers -- on sale 2 bags for $10.  Remember that Walgreens Prescriptions Savings Club members score an additional 10% bonus on store-brand items, which means these would be $4.50 each instead.
• Select Edge, Schick or Skintimate items -- Spend $20 or more, and get 10,000 Balance Rewards points back, which is like $10 in buying power.  No prices are listed in ad, but you will probably find an excellent deal when you stack this $5 off 2 Schick coupon (sort by Personal Care to find it fast.)  It looks like we'll also see a coupon off for a free canister of Edge when you buy Schick disposable razors in the 1/13 Smartsource; it will depend on the individual store on whether you can stack both coupons.
• Biofusion hair care -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
