CVS Deal: Possible $4 Money-Maker On Nivea Creme

UPDATE: Readers are reporting that the Nivea tins have been pulled from the shelves in their local stores.  So CVS may already be cutting this promotion short for the week.

If you're planning a trip to CVS, you might be able to score an unexpected $4 money-maker on Nivea products!

Through January 26, 2013, CVS is offering $6 back in Extra Bucks when you purchase select Nivea products.

And although trial and travel sizes are excluded, I have heard from multiple readers and friends that the Nivea creme tins are triggering the Extra Bucks as well.

So here's how the math works:

• Nivea creme tins -- priced at 98 cents each.
• Buy two for a total of $1.98, then receive $6 back in Extra Bucks.
• That's a $4.02 money-maker!

Now, I want to stress that the last time this Nivea promotion ran, CVS wound up taking the creme tins off the Extra Bucks halfway through the week -- so there is no guarantee that this deal will work for you.

Still, if you are a regular CVS shopper, this deal is definitely worth trying!  Even if you don't earn your Extra Bucks, the creme tins make great little additions to gift baskets.
