Walgreens Ad 5/15: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for May 15 - 21, 2016!

Walgreens is slightly quirky with their policies, so you'll want to be fully prepped before you hit the store.

Best deals in the May 15 Walgreens ad

• Black Forest Organic Gummies -- on sale for 99 cents per bag.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/1 Smartsource insert and get yours for FREE!  Note: Some stores may refuse this deal on its own, because the Walgreens coupon policy says they don't have to accept coupons worth more than the sale price of an item.  However, my personal experience has been that stores will take this sort of deal when paired with a filler item.  YMMV!
• Zantac Duo Fusion Acid Reducer + Antacid -- click here to see how you can score a bottle for FREE!
• Softsoap or Irish Spring Body Wash -- click here to see how you can score yours for just 49 cents per bottle!
• Colgate Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use this $1 off coupon.  Pay $1.99 out of pocket, then get $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Your final price drops to 49 cents!  NOTE: CVS has Colgate toothpaste for free this week.
• Hershey's Candy -- single-size candy bars on sale for 69 cents each.
• Palmolive Dish Liquid -- on sale for 99 cents per bottle.  Use the 25 cents off coupon from the 5/15 Smartsource insert and get yours for 74 cents.
• Kraft Macaroni & Cheese -- on sale for 79 cents per box.
• Nice! Seasonings and/or Spices -- on sale for 79 cents apiece with in-ad coupon.
• Pure Silk Shave Cream -- priced at $1.39 per canister.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 5/15 Smartsource insert and grab yours for 89 cents.
• Ragu Pasta Sauce -- 24 oz jars on sale for $2.79 each, with a free box of Barilla Pasta with purchase.  Some regions may receive a $1 off Ragu coupon from the 5/15 Smartsource insert.  Your new price would then drop to $1.79 for both items, or just 90 cents apiece!
• Chicken of the Sea Salmon or Tuna -- on sale for 99 cents per pouch with in-ad coupon.
• Kellogg's Cereal -- select varieties on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use this $1 off coupon (points required) and pay 99 cents for yours.
• Kellogg's Pop-Tarts -- also on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use this $1 off coupon (points required) and score yours for 99 cents.
• Suave Professionals Hair Care -- 28 oz bottles priced at $2.99 each, with 1000 Balance Reward points (like $1 in buying power on a future transaction.)  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/15 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $1.99 out of pocket, then score your 1000 points.  So that's like a final price of 99 cents!
• Twizzlers -- on sale 2 bags for $4, with 1000 Balance Reward points (like $1 in buying power on a future transaction.)  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 5/15 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $3 out of pocket, then you'll still earn your 1000 points.  So that's like a final price of $2 for two bags, or a buck per bag!
• Windex -- on sale 2 for $6, with $1 back in Register Rewards when you buy two.  Use the $2 off 2 coupon from the 5/1 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $4 out of pocket for both bottles, and then you'll get your $1 in Register Rewards for a future purchase.  So that's like paying $3 for 2.  Next, submit for this $1 off 2 Ibotta rebate.  Your final price drops to $2 for 2, or a buck per bottle!
• Biscoff Cookies -- on sale for $1.99 per pack.  Use this 75 cents off coupon to get yours for $1.24 instead.
• Herbal Essences Hair Care -- on sale 2 for $6.  Use the $3 off 2 coupon from the 5/15 Red Plum insert and pay $3 for both instead.  That works out to $1.50 per bottle.
• Mrs. Thinster's Cookies -- on sale 2 for $5.  Use two of this $1 off coupon and pay $3 for both bags.  That works out to just $1.50 per bag!
• All Liquid Laundry Detergent or Mighty Pacs -- on sale for $2.99 per bag or bottle.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 5/15 Red Plum insert and get yours for just $1.99 instead.
• Jack Link's Jerky -- on sale for $2.99 per bag.  Buy two and use this $1 off 2 coupon.  Your new price falls to $1.99 per bag.
• Jif Peanut Butter -- on sale for $1.99 per jar with in-ad coupon.
• OxiClean HD Liquid Laundry Detergent -- on sale for $3.99 per bottle.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 5/15 Smartsource insert and pay $1.99 for yours.
• Nice! Pistachios, Whole Cashews, or Mixed Nuts -- on sale for $2.99 per bag or jar.
• Scott Extra Soft Bath Tissue and/or Viva Paper Towels -- on sale for $5.99 per pack, with 10,000 Balance Reward points (like $10 in buying power on a future transaction) when you spend $30 or more.  So mix and match six packs for a pre-coupon price of $35.94, then use six $1 off coupons from the 5/15 Smartsource inserts.  You'll pay $29.94 out of pocket for all six packs, and then you'll still receive your 10,000 points for next time.  So that's like a final price of $19.94 for everything, or just $3.32 each!
• Huggies Diapers -- on sale for $8.99 per jumbo pack, with 10,000 Balance Reward points (like $10 in buying power on a future transaction) when you spend $30 or more.  So buy four for a pre-coupon price of $35.96, then use four of this $2 off coupon (multiple devices required.)  You'll pay $27.96 out of pocket, then snag your 10,000 points.  So that's like a final price of $17.96 for all four packs after all discounts, or $4.49 per pack!
• Dunkin Donuts K-Cups -- on sale for $5.99 per 10-count box.  Buy two and use this $2 off 2 coupon (sort by Beverages, then click on the 'Save Up to $4.50 On Dunkin' Donuts' icon.)  Your new price drops to $4.99 per box!
