Dollar General Back2School Haul: 25 Cents Per Item!

Great news -- Dollar General still has that hot $5 off $15 store coupon available in their mobile app good on school supplies if you haven't used it yet!

Since this is a store coupon, it can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for additional savings.

AND we have sales on school supplies in the ad beginning Sunday, August 18!

So here's a scenario to get you thinking:

• 2 Pocket Folders with Prongs -- on sale 6 for $1 (usually 50 cents each.)  Must buy in quantities of 6 in order to receive sale price.
• Crayola Crayons -- on sale for 50 cents per 24-count pack.
• Filler Paper -- on sale for 75 cents per pack.
• iMagine #2 Pencils -- 18-count packs on sale for $1.
• Crayola Colored Pencils -- 12-count boxes also on sale for $1.
• Bic Round Stic Pens or Cristal Pens -- packs on sale for $1 each.
• Buy 12 folders, four packs of crayons, four packs of filler paper, two packs of pencils, two packs of colored pencils, and four packs of Bic pens.  All 28 items will ring in at a pre-coupon price of $15.
• Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your $5 off $15 DG coupon.  That knocks your price down to $10.
• Next, use two $1.50 off 2 Bic coupons from the 8/4 Smartsource insert.
• Your final price falls to $7 for all 28 items, or only 25 cents each!
