Here's how the math works out:
- Crest Toothpaste -- assorted varieties priced at $3.99 each, with $5 back in Register Rewards when you buy three boxes in the same transaction.
- Buy three boxes for a pre-coupon price of $11.97.
- Use the current $5 off 3 Crest coupon available in the Walgreens mobile app.
- Pay $6.97 out of pocket for all three boxes, then receive your $5 in Register Rewards to use next time.
- So that's like a final price of $1.97 for all three boxes -- or only 66 cents each!
