Even better, the pink envelope kicks off a new sweepstakes, inviting consumers to nominate a hero who has taken action in the fight against breast cancer.
25 lucky winners will each receive a set of pink KitchenAid appliances (worth more than $800!) in support of Cook for the Cure®!
AND the nationwide October Valpak envelope will also feature a special surprise for 500 lucky recipients, who will instantly win an immersion blender courtesy of KitchenAid by looking through their pink Valpak envelopes and finding a die-cut certificate shaped like an immersion blender.
Valpak is also working to raise local awareness within the communities that Susan G. Komen serves, as well as raising funds in support of the fight to end breast cancer.
The partnership has been developed to support women and men who have or will develop breast cancer in their lifetime and their loved ones and families.
The goal is to cut the annual number of breast cancer deaths here in the U.S. in half by 2026!
This is super important to me personally, as my aunt is a breast cancer survivor.
She was diagnosed and beat her cancer back in the mid-80s when I was a child, so it's always been a cause near and dear to my heart.
To help meet this Bold Goal of reducing breast cancer mortality rates, Valpak will donate at least $50,000 to Komen in 2018, along with encouraging donations and support through local and corporate partners.

Remember, the Susan G. Komen Foundation is available year-round for local breast cancer support services, including supporting clinical trials and offering free breast cancer screenings.
