Dollar General Ad 11/17: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the special 3-day Dollar General ad running 11/17 - 11/19/16.

If you plan to become a regular couponer at Dollar General, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  

Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!  The policy updated back in December 2014, so you might need to print yourself a new copy.

• 7Up®, A&W® , Sun Drop® or Canada Dry® -- on sale for 75 cents per 2-liter when you buy three in the same transaction.  So buy three bottles for a pre-coupon price of $2.25, then use this $1 off 3 coupon (sort by Beverages to find it fast.)  Your new price falls to $1.25 for all three, or 42 cents apiece!
• All $1 Toys -- on BOGO sale, which means we can stock up 2 for $1, or 50 cents each.
• All Building Blocks -- on BOGO sale, with regular prices starting as low as $1 each.  So that's 50 cents and up!
• Clover Valley® Chunk Light Tuna -- on sale 2 for $1, must buy quantities of two to receive discount.
• Swanson® Canned Chicken or Beef Broth -- on sale 2 for $1, must buy quantities of two to receive discount.
• All Holiday Bags & Single Roll Wrap -- on sale for $1 each.
• Skippy® Peanut Butter -- on sale for $1.50 per jar.  Buy two jars for a pre-coupon price of $3, then use the 75 cents off 2 coupon from the 11/13 Smartsource insert.  Pay $2.25 out of pocket for both, or $1.13 each!
• Rubbermaid® Takealongs® -- on sale for $2.50 per pack, plus also on a BOGO sale.  So grab 2 sets for $2.50, or $1.25 each.
• Fritos -- on sale 3 for $5.  Buy nine bags for $15, then submit for this $3 off $15 SavingStar rebate.  Your final price drops to nine bags for $12, or $1.33 each.
• Barbie® ALL Dolls or Accessories -- on BOGO sale, with regular prices starting as low as $3. So that's just $1.50 each!
• Holiday Boxed Cards -- on sale for $1.50 each (normally $3 per box.)
• ALL Hot Wheels® or Matchbox® Cars 5 packs -- priced at $5 each, plus on BOGO sale.  So that works out to 2 for $5, or $2.50 per 5-pack!
• Sun® Liquid Laundry Detergent -- 140-load bottles on sale for $5.95 each (normally $8.)  Use the $1 off coupon from the 10/30 Red Plum insert and pay $4.95 for yours.
