Here is an AWESOME deal to snag at Dollar General on Saturday, October 15 ONLY on multipacks of Cesar Wet Dog Food!

With the right mix of coupons, we could stock up on these 12-packs for just 99 cents each.

They're normally $8.95, so that's more than an 80% savings!

Here are two deal scenarios to consider, depending on the mix of coupons available:

  • Cesar Wet Dog Food -- 12-count multipacks priced at $8.95 each, with BOGO peelie coupons available in stores.
  • Buy four packs for a pre-coupon price of $35.80.
  • Give this $5 off $25 DG coupon (valid 10/15 only) FIRST.
  • That knocks your price down to $30.80.
  • Next, use two BOGO peelies.
  • Your price drops to $12.90 out of pocket for all four packs.  That works out to $3.23 per multipack, or just 27 cents per individual tray of dog food.

OR, if you have the right mix of coupons, you could do this following deal:
  • Cesar Wet Dog Food -- 12-count multipacks priced at $8.95 each, with BOGO peelie coupons available in stores.
  • Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo or Conditioner -- on sale for $2.50 per bottle (normally $3 each.)
  • Buy two multipacks and four bottles of Herbal Essences for a pre-coupon price of $27.90.
  • Give this $5 off $25 DG coupon (valid 10/15 only) FIRST.
  • That knocks your price down to $22.90.
  • Next, use one BOGO peelie and two $4 off 2 Herbal Essences coupons from the 10/2 Red Plum inserts.
  • Your final price drops to $5.95 for all six items, or just 99 cents each!

FAIR WARNING: I think you need to be more mentally prepared for possible coupon issues at Dollar General than at any other national chain, especially when it comes to using the $5 off $25 weekly coupons.

In fact, I receive more emails and messages from readers about this weekly promotion than on any other topic -- and it is almost always because they are making mistakes #1 and #2 in these Six Common Mistakes That Cost Couponers Money.

So do your homework (in this case, that involves reading the fine print in the $5 off $25 DG coupon) and go ready to advocate for yourself at the register if necessary!
