Dollar General Ad 7/3: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the Dollar General ad running 7/3 - 7/9/16.

If you plan to become a regular couponer at Dollar General, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  
Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!  The policy updated back in December 2014, so you might need to print yourself a new copy.

• Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad -- on sale 2 for $2, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 6/12 Smartsource insert and get yours for 50 cents per box.  NOTE: Check your SavingStar app for a possible $1 off 2 rebate as well!
• Chicken, Hamburger or Tuna Helper® -- on sale 2 for $2, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon and get yours for 2 for $1 instead.  That's 50 cents per box!
• Nestle® Candy Bar Singles -- on sale 2 for $1, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  So that's just 50 cents apiece!
• Clover Valley® Canned Beans or Tomatoes -- on sale 3 cans for $2, must buy in quantities of three to receive discount.  So that works out to 67 cents apiece!
• Mtn Dew® Black Label -- priced at $1.65 per can.  Buy two and use the BOGO DG digital coupon.  You'll get both for $1.65 each, or 83 cents apiece.  NOTE: If you're not familiar with how Dollar General digital coupons work, go here for my how-to guide!
• Clover Valley® White Bread -- priced at $1 per loaf.
• Fanta®, RC®, Mtn Dew® Code Red® or Voltage®, Crush®, Mist TWST®, Barq's®, Sunkist® or Mello Yello® -- on sale for $1 per 2-liter.
• Kellogg's® Cereal Frosted Mini Wheats® -- on sale 2 boxes for $4, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  Use two of this $1 off coupon (points required) and grab yours for a buck per box.
• Americana Flip Flops -- on sale 2 pairs for $3, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  So that's $1.50 per pair.
• Kool-Aid® Powder Drink Mix -- on sale for $2 per canister.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 6/26 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to $1.50 apiece.
• Tide® Pods™ or Gain® Flings!™ -- on sale for $4.95 per bag.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 7/3 P&G insert and get yours for $1.95 instead.
