Dollar General Ad 7/24: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the Dollar General ad running 7/24 - 7/30/16.

If you plan to become a regular couponer at Dollar General, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  

Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!  The policy updated back in December 2014, so you might need to print yourself a new copy.

• iMagine™ School Glue or Glue Sticks -- on sale for 25 cents each.
• iMagine™ Crayons -- on sale for 34 cents per box.
• Bic® Mechanical Pencils -- 10-count bags priced at $1.50 each.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 7/24 Smartsource insert and get yours for 50 cents instead!
• Clover Valley® Cut Green Beans or Whole Kernel Corn -- on sale 2 cans for $1, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  So that works out to just 50 cents apiece!
• Composition Books -- on sale for 50 cents apiece.
• Crayola® Crayons -- 24-count boxes on sale for 50 cents each.
• DG Office™ Index Dividers -- 5-count packs priced at 50 cents apiece!
• Elmer's® School Glue -- on sale for 50 cents per bottle.
• Paper Mate® Inkjoy® Pens -- 8-count packs priced at $1.50 each.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 6/5 Smartsource insert and pay 50 cents for yours.
• Angel Soft Bathroom Tissue -- 4-roll packs priced at $1 each.  Use the 45 cents off coupon from the 7/24 Red Plum insert.  Your new price drops to just 55 cents!
• Filler Paper -- choose from College or Wide Ruled for 75 cents per pack.
• Nestle® Ice Cream Novelty Single Serve -- priced as low as $1 each, plus on a BOGO 50% off sale.  So buy two for $1.50, or 75 cents apiece!
• Twizzlers® Rainbow Twists -- 3.5 oz. bags on sale for $1 each, plus on a B3G1 Free sale.  So buy four bags for $3, or 75 cents each!
• Coca-Cola®, Diet Coke® or Sprite® 2 Liter -- on sale 3 for $3, must buy in quantities of three to receive discount.  So that's a final price of a buck per bottle!
• Crayola Chalk -- on sale for $1 per box.
• Smart & Simple® Napkins -- 150 ct. packs priced at $1 each.

• Assorted Kellogg's Cereal -- on sale 3 boxes for $6; must buy in quantities of three to receive discount.  Buy six boxes for $12, then use this $3 off 5 coupon and this $1 off coupon (points required.)  Your price drops to $8 for all six boxes, or just $1.33 each!

• Hefty® Trash Bags -- assorted varieties priced at $4.75 per box.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 6/26 Red Plum insert then submit for this $1 Ibotta rebate.  Your final price drops to just $2.75!

• Scott® Choose A Sheet Paper Towels -- 6-count packs (like 9 regular rolls) on sale for $4.50.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 6/26 Smartsource (expires 7/24, so shop fast!) and pay $3.75 for yours.  That's just 42 cents per regular roll!
