Dollar General Ad 7/10: Best Sales & Deals

Here are the best deals I spotted in the Dollar General ad running 7/10 - 7/16/16.

If you plan to become a regular couponer at Dollar General, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.  

Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!  The policy updated back in December 2014, so you might need to print yourself a new copy.

• 1-Subject Spiral Notebook -- choose from College or Wide Rule for 34 cents each.
• Powerade -- priced at 85 cents per bottle.  Buy two and use this BOGO DG digital coupon and get yours for 43 cents each.  NOTE: If you're not familiar with how Dollar General digital coupons work, go here for my how-to guide!
• Bic Round Stic Pens -- 10-count packs priced at 50 cents each.  Choose from red, black, or blue.
• Chicken, Hamburger or Tuna Helper® -- on sale 2 for $2, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon and get yours for 2 for $1 instead.  That's 50 cents per box!
• Clover Valley Canned Vegetables -- on sale 2 for $1, must buy in quantities of two to receive discount.  So that works out to just 50 cents each!
• Crayola Crayons -- 24-count boxes priced at 50 cents each.
• iMagine #2 Yellow Pencils -- 18-count packs priced at 50 cents each.
• Cesar Dog Food -- priced at 75 cents per tray.  Buy 10 trays for a pre-coupon price of $7.50, then use this $2 off 10 coupon.  Your new price falls to $5.50, or 55 cents each!
• Bumble Bee Tuna -- on sale 3 cans for $2, must buy in quantities of three to receive discount.  So that works out to just 67 cents each!
• Chef Boyardee Ravioli -- priced at 75 cents per can.
• Knorr Rice or Pasta Sides -- priced at $1 per pack, plus on a Buy 3 Get 1 Free sale.  So buy four packs for $3, or 75 cents apiece!

• Tide PODS or Gain Flings! -- priced at $4.95 per bag.  Use the $3 off coupon from the 7/3 P&G insert and get yours for $1.95.
• Suavitel Liquid Fabric Softener -- 50 oz bottles priced at $3 each.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 7/10 Smartsource insert and get yours for $2 apiece.
• Iams Dry Dog Food -- 3.3 lb bags priced at $5.50 each.  Buy two and use the BOGO coupon from the 6/5 Red Plum insert.  Your price drops to $5.50 for both bags, or $2.75 each!
• Backpacks -- priced at $3 each.
• Sparkle Paper Towels -- priced at $4.50 per 6-roll pack.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for $3.50.
• Starbucks K-Cups -- 10-count boxes priced at $6.95 each.
