Target Deals: Save $10 Off Groceries Beginning November 16, 2014

Here's GREAT news for folks looking to save money on their summer grocery list -- beginning Sunday, November 16, 2014, we will have a Target coupon good for $10 off any food and/or beverage purchase of $50 or more!

Or if you want to get a head start on your savings, you should be able to text GROCERY to 827438 to get your mobile copy of this coupon by Sunday morning.

And as always, you can stack manufacturer coupons with Target coupons, so I strongly recommend going through your collection now for possible stacking ideas.

Keep in mind you will need to hit $50 BEFORE coupons to use this coupon.  Be sure to hand over your Target coupon first, then all your manufacturer coupons to avoid issues at the register.

Also, keep in mind that a few categories are excluded, including alcohol, baby food, nutrition shakes and bars, pet food, and anything from the Target or Starbucks cafes.

Here are a couple of ideas I see from the upcoming November 16 Target ad:

  • Butterball Turkey -- on sale for $1.19 per pound.  There's also a new printable Butterball coupon good for $3 off any whole turkey when you buy three assorted products, as well as a  $3 SavingStar rebate good on Butterball turkeys wyb the same three assorted products.
  • Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin -- on sale for $1.69 per can.  Stack this 55 cents off Target coupon with the 5% off Cartwheel offer.  You'll pay $1.08 out of pocket, and then you can submit for the 25 cents Ibotta rebate.  Your final price drops to 83 cents, which is 50% off the sale price!
  • Del Monte Canned Fruit -- on sale for $1 per can.  Use the 10% off Cartwheel offer and pay 90 cents for yours.
  • Birds Eye Frozen Vegetables -- on sale for $1 per bag.
  • Nestle Toll House Chocolate Morsels -- on sale for $2.29 per bag.  Buy three for a pre-coupon price of $6.87, then stack this $1 off 3 Target coupon with the $1 off 2 coupon from the 9/28 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to $4.87 for all 3 bags, or just $1.62 per bag!
  • Pillsbury Rolled Refrigerated Pie Crusts -- on sale 2 for $5.  Use the 50 cents off 2 coupon from the 11/2, 11/9, or 11/16 Smartsource inserts.  You'll pay $4.50 for both out of pocket, and then you can submit for the 75 cents off 2 SavingStar rebate.  Your new price drops to $3.75 for both, or $1.88 each!
  • Russet Potatoes -- 5 lb bags on sale for $1.99 each.
  • Market Pantry -- 4 lb bags of sugar on sale for $1.99 each.
  • Market Pantry Butter -- 1 lb boxes on sale for $3 each.  Buy three boxes for $9, then stack this $1.50 off $7 coupon with this 5% off Cartwheel offer.   Your price drops to $7.12 for all three boxes, or just $2.38 apiece.  GREAT price for butter!
  • Comstock Cherry Pie Filling -- on sale for $2.99 per can.
  • Philadelphia Cream Cheese -- on sale for $3 per brick.
  • Marie Callender's Dessert Pie -- on sale for $4.99.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 11/9 Smartsource insert and get yours for $4.24 instead.
So, if you buy EVERYTHING on that list above (making sure your Butterball turkey is 10 lbs.), I estimate your pre-coupon total will be $51.42 for all 17 items.

Give your $10 off $50 Target coupon first, to knock your price down to $41.42.  Next, use all the coupons and Target Cartwheel offers listed above.  That should knock your out of pocket price down to $32.59.

Finally, submit for your various SavingStar and Ibotta rebates.  Your final price for Thanksgiving dinner works out to just $28.59!
