Walgreens Ad 5/11: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for May 11 - 17, 2014.

Best deals in the 5/11 Walgreens ad

  • Nexxus & CoverGirl -- click here to see how you can get a possible $2.03 money-maker after Points Booster coupon!
  • Neilmed Wound Wash -- on sale for $5, with $5 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
  • Butterball Turkey Bacon -- on sale for $1.29 per pack.  Use this $1 off coupon and pay 29 cents for yours.
  • Werther's Original Caramels -- on sale 2 bags for $3.  Use two of this $1 off coupon (registration required) and pay 50 cents per bag instead.
  • Mars Single-Size Candy -- on sale for 59 cents each with in-ad coupon.
  • Crest Toothpaste -- on sale 2 for $8, with $5 back in Register Rewards.  Use two 75 cents off coupons from the 4/27 P&G insert.  You'll pay $6.50 out of pocket, then get your $5 back in Register Rewards.  So that's a final price of $1.50 for two tubes, or 75 cents apiece.
  • Herbal Essences Hair Care -- on sale 2 bottles for $6.  Use the $3 off 2 coupon from the 5/11 P&G insert, and your new price drops to $1.50 apiece.
  • Speed Stick Gear Antiperspirant/Deodorant -- on sale 2 for $8, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Use the BOGO coupon arriving in the 5/11 Smartsource insert.  You'll pay $4 out of pocket for both, then you'll have your $1 in Register Rewards.  So your price is $1.50 apiece.
  • Nice! Peanut Butter Or Jelly -- on sale 2 jars for $4, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  So that's like paying $1.50 apiece for yours.
  • All Laundry Detergent -- 28 to 33 load bottles on sale for $2.99 each.  Use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 5/11 Red Plum insert, and pay $1.99 for yours.  So that's as low as 6 cents per load, depending on which size bottle you buy.
  • Suavitel Fabric Softener -- on sale for $1.99 per bottle with in-ad coupon.
  • Irish Spring Body Wash -- on sale 2 for $8, with $3 back in Register Rewards.  Use two 50 cents off coupons from the 5/11 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops to $2 per bottle.
  • Nasacort 24HR Product -- priced at $11.99 each, with 5000 Balance Reward points back when you spend $20 or more.  So buy two for $23.98, and use two of this $5 off coupon.  You'll pay $13.98 out of pocket, and then you have $5 in future buying power.  So that's like $8.98 for both, or $4.49 per box.
  • Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong Bath Tissue -- 24-count big rolls on sale for $8.99 each.  Stack the $2 off Walgreens coupon in the May coupon book with this 45 cents off coupon.  Your price drops to $6.54 per pack.  I don't know if big rolls are the same as double rolls to give you the price per roll here -- if anyone else knows, please share it in the comments!
  • Morton Epsom Salt -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
  • Nivea for Men Skin Care or Shave Care -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the $1 off or $2 off coupons from the 5/11 Red Plum insert to get yourself an even better deal.
  • Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use two of the $1 off coupons from the 4/27 Smartsource insert and drop your price even further.
