Walgreens Ad 4/27: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for April 27 - May 3, 2014.

Best deals in the 4/27 Walgreens ad

• Free $25 Walgreens gift card with in-ad coupon -- click here for more details!
• Hamburger Helper -- on sale 3 for $3, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy three in the same transaction.  Use this $1 off 2 coupon (sort by Food to find it fast.)  You'll pay $2 out of pocket, then still score the 1000 Balance Reward points.  So that's like 3 for $1, or 34 cents each!  Now, IF your store will let you buy six at a time, you could use three of that $1 off 2 coupon (would require multiple computers.)  After coupons and Balance Reward points, your final price would drop to $1 for all 6, which works out to 17 cents each.  Happy dance!
• Butterball Turkey Bacon -- on sale for $1.39 per pack.  Use this $1 off coupon and get yours for 39 cents.
• Old El Paso Taco Shells or Taco Sauce -- on sale 3 for $3, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy three in the same transaction.  Use this 60 cents off 3 coupon (prints in Spanish.)  You'll pay $2.40 for all three items, then receive your 1000 Balance Reward points.  So that's like a final price of $1.40 for all three, or 47 cents each!
• Advil Congestion Relief -- on sale for $4.99 per box, with 3000 Balance Reward points back to use on a future purchase when you buy two in the same transaction.  So buy two for a pre-coupon price of $9.98, then use two $3 off coupons from the 4/27 Red Plum insert.  You'll pay $3.98 out of pocket, then get your 3000 Balance Reward points back.  So your final price is 98 cents for both, or 49 cents per box.  That's 90% off the sale price!
• Colgate Total Toothpaste -- on sale for $2.99, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 4/27 Smartsource insert, and get yours for a final price of 49 cents.
• Crystal Light Drink Mix -- on sale 2 for $4, with 1000 Balance Reward points back to use on a future purchase.  Use two of this $1 off coupon.  You'll pay $2 out of pocket, and still earn your 1000 Balance Reward points.  So that's like paying $1 for both, or 50 cents per box.  Great deal!
• Arizona Tea or Drink -- on sale 2 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So that's 50 cents apiece!
• Hunt's Tomato Sauce or Butterball Chicken Broth -- on sale 2 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So also 50 cents each.
• Balance Bars -- on sale for $1 each, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy 10 in the same transaction.  So buy 10, then use three of this $1 off 3 coupon (requires multiple computers.)  You'll pay $7 out of pocket, then have the $1 in future buying power from the Balance Reward points.  So that's like getting everything for $6, or 60 cents each.
• Scope Mouthwash -- on sale for $2.99 each, with $1.25 back via Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 4/27 P&G insert, and your final price drops to 74 cents.
• Campbell's Soup -- choose from chicken noodle or tomato on sale for 79 cents per can with in-ad coupon.
• Finesse Shampoo, Conditioner or Styling Product -- on sale for $2.99, with 1000 Balance Reward points back for a future transaction.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 4/27 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops to 99 cents.
