Walgreens Ad 3/2: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for March 2 - 8, 2014.

If you're new to shopping at Walgreens, check out my how-to guide to get yourself up to speed!  Walgreens is slightly quirky with their policies, so you'll want to be fully prepped before you hit the store.


Best deals in the 3/2 Walgreens ad
  • Garnier Fructis Hair Care -- on sale 2 for $6, with 2000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction (the Balance Reward points MAY be a regional offer, so check your Sunday ad before you head to the store.)  If the points offer shows up, buy two bottles and use two $2 off coupons from the 3/2 Red Plum insert.  After coupons and Balance Rewards, both bottles will be free!
  • Insync Natural Probiotic -- on sale for $10, with $10 back in Register Rewards.  So free!
  • Kellogg's Breakfast To Go or Special K Coffee House Shakes -- on sale for $1.49, with $1.49 back in Register Rewards.  So also free!
  • Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Liquid -- on sale for 99 cents per bottle.  Buy two and use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 3/2 P&G insert.  That knocks your price down to 49 cents per bottle.
  • Crest 3D White or Pro-Health Toothpaste -- on sale for $3, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 3/2 P&G insert, and your final price drops to 75 cents.
  • Crest Pro-Health Mouth Rinse -- on sale for $3, with $1.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use the 75 cents off coupon from the 3/2 P&G insert, and get yours for 75 cents as well.
  • Fixodent -- on sale for $4.29 per tube, with $1 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $2.50 off coupon from the 3/2 P&G insert, and your new price drops to 79 cents.  *Note: these are free at CVS this week.
  • Brach's Easter Jelly Beans or Eggs -- on sale 2 bags for $3.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon in the March 2014 Walgreens coupon book, and drop your price to a buck per bag.
  • Triscuits -- on sale 2 boxes for $5.  Use two of these $1 off coupons, then submit for the $1 off 2 Checkout 51 offer.  Your new price is $1 per box!
  • Pantene -- on sale 3 bottles for $10, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy three bottles.  Use the $5 off 3 coupon from the 3/2 P&G insert, and your final price drops to $4 for three bottles instead.  So that's $1.34 per bottle.
  • Softsoap Body Wash -- on sale 2 bottles for $6, with $3 back in Register Rewards.  So that's a final price of $1.50 per bottle.
  • Ban Cooling Body Cloths -- on sale for $2.99 per pack.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 3/2 Smartsource insert, and pay $1.99 for yours. Also, watch for specially marked packages that qualify for the current Ban Try Me Free rebate!
  • Tampax Pearls -- 16 to 20-count boxes on sale for $3.99 each.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 3/2 P&G insert, and pay $1.99 for yours.  That's a 50% discount!
  • The Hunger Games: Catching Fire -- on sale for $15.99 per DVD starting Tuesday, March 4.
