Walgreens Ad 2/9: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best non-freebie deals in the Walgreens ad for February 9 - 15, 2014.

Best non-freebie deals in the 2/9 Walgreens ad

• Suave Captivating Curls Whipped Cream Mousse -- on sale for $2.69 each, with 2000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction.  Buy two for a pre-coupon price of $5.38, and use two $1.50 off Suave coupons from the 1/26 Red Plum insert. You'll pay $2.38 out of pocket, and then you'll receive 2000 Balance Reward points back towards a future transaction, which is like $2 in buying power. So your final price is 38 cents for both, or 19 cents each!
• Progresso Soup -- on sale 2 for $2.50.  If you still have the $1 off coupons from the 1/5 Smartsource (this was a regional coupon; not everyone got it) then you can use two and pay 25 cents each for yours.
• A&W and 7UP 2-Liters -- on sale for $1 each.  If your store carries the TEN brand, use the 75 cents off coupon from the 1/12 Smartsource insert, and pay a quarter for yours.
• Scope Mouthwash -- on sale for $3.49, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off coupon from the 2/9 Red Plum insert, and pay 49 cents instead!
• Halls Drops -- on sale 2 bags for $3.  Use the $1 off 2 coupon arriving in the 2/9 Smartsource insert, then submit for the $1 off 2 Checkout 51 offer (only good through Wednesday, February 12!)  Your final price drops to 50 cents per bag.
• Butterball Chicken Broth --  on sale 2 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  So that's 50 cents per can!
• Hunt's Tomato Sauce -- on sale 2 for $1 with in-ad coupon.  Also 50 cents per can!
• Hershey's Spreads Jar -- on sale for $2.99.  Use the $1.50 off coupon from the 2/9 Smartsource insert and get yours for $1.49.
• Nutella -- on sale for $3.49 per jar.  Buy two and use the BOGO coupon from the 2/2 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to $1.75 apiece.
• Planters Nuts -- on sale 2 for $6, with 1000 Balance Reward points back when you buy two in the same transaction (like $1 in buying power.)  Use the $1 off 2 coupon from the 1/26 Smartsource.  Your final price drops to $2 per bottle.
• Scott Paper Towels -- 6-count pack on sale for $4.99.  Stack the $1 off coupon from the February Walgreens coupon book with the $1 off coupon from the 1/12 Smartsource insert.  Your price drops to $2.99 per pack, or 50 cents per roll!
• Nasacourt Allergy 24-Hour Spray -- 60-count box on sale for $11.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $5 off coupon from the 2/9 Red Plum insert, and your new price drops to $4.99.
• Starbucks K-Cup Packs -- 10-count boxes on sale for $6.99.  Buy two and use the $4 off 2 coupon from the 12/8 Smartsource insert.  That drops your price to $4.99 per box, or less than 50 cents per cup.  Good price for Starbucks!
• K-Y Yours + Mine Couples Lubricant -- on sale for $14.99, with $40 Dinner + Movie gift card available in select packages (click here to see what you're looking for.)  Use the $4 off coupon arriving in the 2/9 Smartsource insert, and your final price for all that drops to $10.99.  (NOTE: there is also a 5000 Balance Reward offer when you spend $25 or more on K-Y, but fair warning, you can only submit for ONE Dinner + Movie gift card per household!)
• Purex Laundry Detergent -- on Buy 1 Get 2 Free sale.  No prices listed in ad, but when they have run this deal before, it's usually around $5.99 per bag.  So you could possibly score bags for as low as $1.99 each, with no coupons needed!
• Patriot Jar Candles -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Photo Frames or Albums -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
