CVS Ad 2/23: Best Deals & Sales

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for February 23 - March 1, 2014.

Best deals in the February 23 CVS ad

• Irish Spring Bar Soap -- click here to see how you can possibly score two 3-packs (that's 6 bars!) for free!
• Mucinex Allergy Relief -- 5-count pack on sale for $7.50.  Use the $5 off coupon arriving in the 2/23 Smartsource insert, along with the $2.50 mail-in rebate form in the same insert.  Your box will be free!
• Crest Toothpaste -- 3.5 oz tubes on sale for 99 cents.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 1/26 P&G insert (expires 2/28) and pay 49 cents for yours.
• SoftSoap Liquid Hand Soap Pump -- priced at $1.50 for 7.5 oz or 8 oz bottles.  If your store carries the 8 oz, use the $1 off coupon arriving in the 2/23 Smartsource insert.  Your new price drops to 50 cents.
• South Beach Diet Good To Go Bars -- priced 2 boxes for $4.  Use the $2.50 off 2 coupon from the 2/9 Smartsource insert, and your new price falls to 75 cents per box.  Great price for these!
• Mitchum or Lady Mitchum Deodorant -- on sale for $2.99 each.  Use the $2 off coupon arriving in the 2/23 Smartsource insert, and get yours for 99 cents instead.
• Dole Fruit Cups -- 4-packs on sale for $2 each.  Use this 50 cents off coupon and submit for the 50 cents Checkout 51 offer (not everyone may have this in their account!)  Your price falls as low as a dollar per 4-pack!
• L'Oreal Advanced Haircare -- priced at $4 per bottle.  Buy two and use the $4 off 2 coupon from the 2/16 Red Plum insert.  That knocks your price down to $2 apiece, which is like creating your own BOGO sale!
• Purina Beneful Dry Dog Food -- on sale for $4.99 per bag.  Use the $2 off coupon from the 2/9 Red Plum insert and pay $2.99 for yours.
• Iams Dog or Cat Food -- priced at $5.99 per bag.  Use either of these $2 off Iams coupons (sort by Pet Care to find them fast) and get yours for $3.99 instead.
• Huggies Diapers -- on sale 2 jumbo packs for $18, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you buy two.  So buy two, and use two $3 off coupons from the 2/23 Smartsource insert.  After coupons and Extra Bucks, your final price falls to $4.50 per jumbo pack.  NOTE: I think it's possible this $3 off coupon is regional, so check your inserts before heading out to the store.
• Revere House Candles -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• GE Reveal Light Bulbs -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use two $1 off GE coupons (sort by Household to find it fast) and drop your price even further.
• Physicians Formula Cosmetics -- Save $5 off all non-clearance items.  No prices listed in ad, but I've seen concealer sticks priced as low as $5.29 in stores.  So be sure to check your store early Sunday morning for the best selection!
• Nexxus Hair Care -- Spend $20 or more, get $10 back in Extra Bucks.
• Neutrogena Cosmetics & Cleansing -- Spend $20 or more, get $7 back in Extra Bucks.  No prices listed in ad, but use the $3 off 2 Neutrogena coupons from the 2/9 Smartsource to get a better deal.  Some of you may also have a $2 off 2 Checkout 51 offer in your account to use!
• Cover Girl Cosmetics -- Spend $10 or more, get $3 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $3 off 2 coupon from the 1/26 P&G insert (expires 2/28) to pay less for yours.
• Maybelline Lip, Nail, or Eye Cosmetics -- Spend $10 or more, get $3 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the $2 off coupons in the 1/5 Red Plum insert to drive your price down even more.
