Walgreens Ad 10/27: Best Sales & Deals

Here are my picks for the best deals in the Walgreens ad for October 27 - November 2, 2013.

Best deals in the 10/27 Walgreens ad

• Colgate Total toothpaste -- on sale for $3, with $2.50 back in Register Rewards.  Use this 75 cents off coupon (sort by Personal Care to find it fast) and get yours for free, plus 25 cents back in profit!
• Crest Pro-Health mouthwash -- 16.9 oz bottles on sale 2 for $6, with $3 back in Register Rewards when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use two $1.50 off coupons from the 9/29 P&G insert (expires 10/31) and get both for free!
• Tums Chewy Delights -- click here to see how you can snag a bag for free, plus earn $1 in profit on your transaction!
• Advil Congestion Relief -- 10-count boxes on sale for $4.99.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon available in the November coupon book in store, with the $3 off coupon from the 10/13 Red Plum (expires 10/27.)  That knocks your price down to just 99 cents per box!
• Rice Krispies treats -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use this 75 cents off coupon (points required) and pay $1.24 for yours instead.
• Lucky Charms or Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal -- on sale for $1.75 per box.  Use either of these 50 cents off coupons (sort by Food to find them fast) and get yours for $1.25 per box instead.
• Nutella -- on sale for $3.49 per jar, with a free loaf of Nice! bread available with purchase.  Use the $1 off Nutella coupon from the 8/11 Red Plum insert, and you'll pay $2.49 for both instead.  That works out to $1.25 per item!
• Nestle, Hershey's, or Mars snack bags of candy -- on sale for $1.99, with 50 cents back in Register Rewards.  So that's like paying $1.49 instead.
• Nice! purified drinking water -- 24-count pack on sale for $2.49 each.  Limit 2 per transaction.
• Tide 2X laundry detergent -- 24 to 32 load bottles priced at $5.99 each, with 5000 Balance Reward points back when you spend $20 or more.  So buy four for a pre-coupon price of $23.96, which is plenty to snag your points. Then use four $2 off coupons from the 9/29 P&G insert (expires 10/31.)  That knocks your price down to $15.96, and then you'll still have your $5 in Balance Reward points.  So that's like $10.96 for all four bottles, or just $2.74 per bottle!
• Children's Halloween costumes -- take $5 off costumes priced $12.99 and higher with in-ad coupon October 27 - 31.  So that's as low as $7.99 each!
• Aveeno bath & body gift sets -- on sale for $10 each.  Use this $1 off coupon to get yours for $9 instead.
• Monsters University -- on sale for $16.99 per DVD or $22.99 per Blu-Ray, available October 29.
• Gillette products -- Spend $25 or more, get $5 back in Register Rewards.  No prices listed in ad, but we will see $6 off 3 coupons arriving in the 10/27 P&G insert you can use for a better deal.
• Chex Mix -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.  Use the 50 cents off 2 coupon arriving in the 10/27 Smartsource insert to get an even better deal on yours.
• Living Solutions blanket or travel pillow -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Goody or Revlon brushes or hair accessories -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• DiGiorno pizza -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
• Breyers ice cream -- on BOGO sale, no prices listed in ad.
