If you're new to shopping at Walgreens, check out my how-to guide to get yourself up to speed!
Best deals in the 10/13 Walgreens ad

  • Reach Total Care floss or flosser starter kit -- on sale for $2.99, with $2 back in Register Rewards.  Use the $1 off Reach coupon from the 10/6 Smartsource insert, and get yours for free!
  • Advil PM pain relief -- 4-count pack priced at $1 each.  There is a regional $1 off coupon available in the 10/13 Red Plum insert (we will not receive this coupon in San Antonio, however.)  If you can track that coupon down somehow, these will be free!
  • Lindsay olives -- on sale for 99 cents per can or bottle with in-ad coupon.  Play this Facebook game for a 55 cents off coupon to stack, and drop your price to 44 cents.  Remember, many Facebook games and apps aren't compatible with mobile platforms, so you'll need to try that link from a desktop or laptop computer.
  • Gas-X -- 20-count boxes on sale for $4.99 each.  Buy two and stack the $2 off Walgreens coupon from the October coupon book (will take off $4) with the $5 off 2 coupon arriving in the 10/13 Smartsource insert.  After your coupon stack, you'll pay 98 cents for both boxes -- or just 49 cents each!
  • Ricola cough drops -- on sale 2 bags for $3.  Use the $1.50 off 2 coupon arriving in the 10/13 Smartsource insert, and your final price drops down to 75 cents per bag.
  • Colgate MaxFresh toothpaste -- on sale 2 for $6, with $3 back in Register Rewards.  Use two of this 75 cents off coupon (sort by Personal Care to find it fast.)  Your final price falls to 75 cents per tube.
  • Nice! aluminum foil -- 25 sq ft box on sale for 99 cents each with in-ad coupon.
  • Colgate Total Advanced mouthwash -- on sale for $2.99 per bottle.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon (available in the October coupon book in stores) with the $1 off coupon arriving in the 10/13 Smartsource insert.  Your new price falls to 99 cents.
  • Chunky Soup -- on sale 3 cans for $5, with 1000 Balance Rewards points (like $1 in buying power) for a future purchase when you buy three in the same transaction.  Use the $1 off 3 coupon from either the 9/8 or the 10/6 Smartsource insert.  Your final price drops to a buck per can.
  • Rice Krispies treats -- on sale for $1.99 per box.  Use this 75 cents off coupon (points required) and pay $1.24 for yours.
  • Pine-Sol -- on sale 2 for $5, with 1000 Balance Rewards points (like $1 in buying power) for a future purchase when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use two of this 75 cents off coupon (sort by Household to find it fast) and pay $1.25 each for yours.
  • Scrubbing Bubbles or Windex -- on sale 2 for $5, with 1000 Balance Rewards points (like $1 in buying power) for a future purchase when you buy two in the same transaction.  Use this $1 off 2 Windex coupon or this $1 off 2 Scrubbing Bubbles coupon, and pay a final price of $1.50 each for yours.
  • Advil Congestion or Allergy & Congestion Relief -- 10-count boxes priced at $4.95 each.  Use the $3 off coupon arriving in the 10/13 Red Plum insert, and pay $1.95 for yours.
  • Nice! peanut butter -- on unadvertised sale for $1.99 per jar.
  • Sensodyne toothpaste -- on sale for $4.99 each.  Stack the $1 off Walgreens coupon (available in the October coupon book in stores) with the $1 off coupon from the 9/8 Red Plum insert.  Your new price drops to $2.99 per tube.
  • Gevalia K-Cups -- on sale for $5.99 per 12-count box.  Use this $1.50 off coupon, and get yours for $4.49 instead.  That's like paying 37 cents per K-Cup, which is an excellent price!

  1. On the Gas X deal - Walgreens wouldn't let me use 2 of the $2.00 coupons from their book but still a good deal getting $7.00 off.
