eBay Cans Coupon Sales September 1, 2013

Just a heads-up that eBay is making a major change to its policy around selling coupons very soon!

Starting September 1, the new policy will limit eBay sellers to 25 coupons sold per month -- not to any single eBay customer, but total for the month.

That basically means that sellers who had been offering whole inserts for reduced prices will be put out of business.

In addition, selling coupons for free product will be banned altogether -- which I think is a great thing, since so many of those free product coupons on eBay right now are actually counterfeit!

This move has been a long time in coming -- I wrote a post over two years ago that eBay might disallow selling of coupons on its site.

So if you're looking for inexpensive ways to get large amounts of coupons, you can officially cross eBay off your list come Labor Day 2013.  Luckily, I have some suggestions on how to stockpile coupons without spending money here.
