Most Staples stores don't accept coupons, but Walmart obviously does. So here's how the math might work:
- Buy two 8-count packs of Bic Round Stic black pens, and price-match to the Staples ad to get them for 2 cents.
- Use this $1.50 off 2 Bic coupon. Remember, most smartphones can't access Facebook apps, so you'll want to get this from a desktop or laptop computer.
- You'll make a profit of $1.48!
Now, the only potential wrinkle I see here is that some Walmart stores may want to price-match the entire deal -- in other words, they may require you to make a $5 minimum purchase in order to give you the penny price.
So I would be prepared to buy some other items at the same time you're doing this deal -- and be sure to bring the Staples ad along with you too.
