Reader Tip: Hot Pockets As Low As 20 Cents Each At Target

Reader Heidi wrote in with an absolutely astounding deal she snagged at Target on Hot Pockets yesterday.

She scored 12 boxes of Hot Pockets for just $2.44 after coupon stacks -- that's a mere 20 cents per box, and only 10 cents per serving!

Here's how she broke down her deal:
  • Hot Pockets or Lean Pockets -- on sale for $2.04, plus on a Buy 4 Get 1 Free offer through July 20, 2013 only.
  • Buy 12 boxes for a pre-coupon total of $20.40 (since you're only paying for 10 and get 2 free.
  • Now, use the 5% off Target Cartwheel offer to subtract 82 cents off your total.  That drops your price down to $19.58.
  • Next, use a total of four of these B2G1 Free printable coupons (requires multiple computers.)  If your cashier enters the sale price on the coupons, that would knock you down to $11.42...but Heidi's coupons autoscanned for $3.99 each.  So that took $15.96 off her total, which dropped her to just $3.62!
  • Now, use the $1 off frozen item Target mobile coupon (text FRESH to 827438 to get yours.)  This knocks your price down to $2.62 for all 12 boxes.  If you stop there, you'll pay 22 cents per box.
  • Heidi next got a bag discount for bringing in her own bag (so another nickel off her total) and then paid with her Target RedCard (which saved her another 5% off, or an additional 13 cents.)
  • So her grand final total for all 12 boxes was just $2.44, or a measly 20 cents per box!
Some things to keep in mind: Target doesn't guarantee overage on coupons, so if you try this deal, your cashier is totally able to adjust the coupons down to $2.04 each instead of the $3.99.  The Target coupon policy will back them up if they decide to do that.

If that happens to you, your final price after ALL coupons would be $10.42 for 12 boxes, or 87 cents per box.  That is still an excellent price, and one I would gladly stockpile at!

Also, this sale is only good through today, so you'll need to get out to the store very quickly in order to take advantage of these prices.

Huge thanks to Heidi for sharing her amazing coupon trip with us!
