If you plan to become a regular couponer here, I strongly recommend building a personal relationship with your store's general manager so the cashiers don't freak out at the sight of your coupon binder.
Bringing a copy of the Dollar General coupon policy is always a smart idea too!

- Bic pens or Wite Out -- on sale for $1 per pack. Buy two and use this $1.50 off 2 coupon (must enter sweepstakes to get coupon.) Your price drops to 25 cents each.
- Temptations cat treats -- priced at $1.50 per bag. Use the $1 off coupon from the August 2013 issue of All You, and get yours for just 50 cents.
- Old Spice bar soap -- 2-count packs on sale for $1.50. Use the $1 off coupon from the 7/7 P&G insert (expires 7/31) and get yours for 50 cents instead.
- Herbal Essence shampoo or conditioner -- priced at $2.50 per bottle, with trial size bottles of the new Herbal Essence body wash attached. So buy two and use the BOGO coupon from the 7/28 P&G insert. That drops your price to $1.25 per bottle, and you also get the body wash too!
- Cheese Nip crackers -- priced at $1.95 per box, with $1 off at the register when you buy two boxes in the same transaction. So that's like spending $1.45 per box instead.
- 6-shelf storage organizer -- on sale for $4.
- Jewelry organizer -- on sale for $5.
