CVS Ad 7/28: Best Coupon Deals & Sales

Here are the best sales and deals I spotted in the CVS ad for July 28 - August 3, 2013.

Best deals in the 7/28 CVS ad

  • Starbucks iced coffee -- click here to see how you can earn $1 profit on your transaction!
  • Speed Stick deodorant -- on sale for $1.99 each.  Some of us are receiving a $3 off 2 Speed Stick for Men coupon from the CVS coupon center that expires on 7/28/13.  If you got that, buy two and stack two 50 cents off coupons from the 7/28 Smartsource insert.  You'll get both for free!
  • Dawn Hand Renewal dishwashing liquid -- on sale for 99 cents each.  Use the 50 cents off coupon from the 7/28 P&G insert, and pay 49 cents for yours instead.
  • 7UP, A&W, Canada Dry, and Sunkist soda -- on sale for 99 cents per 2-liter.  Scan your Extra Care card at the CVS coupon machine to see if you receive a 30 cents off coupon.  If you do, your bottle is just 69 cents!
  • Herbal Essence hair care -- on sale 2 for $5, with $1 back in Extra Bucks when you buy two.  Use the BOGO coupon arriving in the 7/28 P&G insert.  After the coupon and your Extra Bucks, your price drops to 75 cents per bottle!
  • Ragu pasta sauce -- on sale 3 for $5, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10.  So buy six and use six 20 cents off coupons from the 7/28 Red Plum insert.  After coupons and Extra Bucks, your price drops to 97 cents per jar.
  • Stayfree feminine hygiene products -- on sale for $2.99, with $1 back in Extra Bucks.  Use this $1 off coupon (or the $1 off coupon arriving in the 7/28 Smartsource insert) and pay 99 cents for yours.
  • Pantene hair care -- on sale for $3.50 per bottle, with $1 back in Extra Bucks when you buy two.  Use the BOGO coupon from the 7/7 P&G insert (expires 7/31), and your price drops to $1.25 per bottle instead!
  • Skippy peanut butter -- on sale 2 for $5, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10.  Buy four and use two 75 cents off 2 coupons arriving in the 7/28 Smartsource insert.  Your price after coupons and Extra Bucks drops to just $1.38 per jar, which is an excellent price for name-brand peanut butter!  Note: You'll have to choose between this or the Ragu pasta sauce deal, as they are both part of the same Extra Bucks offer.
  • Five Star 1-subject notebooks -- on sale for $3 each, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10 or more.  Buy four and use two $1 off 2 coupons from the 7/7 P&G insert (expires 7/31.)  Your price after coupons and Extra Bucks drops to $1.75 each.
  • All liquid laundry detergent or mighty pacs -- on sale for $3.99, with $1 back in Extra Bucks.  Use the 75 cents off coupon arriving in the 7/28 Red Plum, and snag yours for $2.24 instead.  That works out to as little as 7 cents per load, depending on which size you buy.
  • Just the Basics bottled drinking water -- 24-count case on sale for $2.44, which means you're paying about 10 cents per bottle.
  • Sharpies -- 8-count packs on sale for $3.99, with $3 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $10 or more.  So buy three, and your price after Extra Bucks drops to $2.99 each.
  • Gain detergent -- 19 to 32-load bottles on sale for $5.94 each, with $5 back in Extra Bucks when you spend $20 or more.  Buy four and use two $2 off 2 coupons from the 7/14 Red Plum insert. After coupons and Extra Bucks, your price drops to $3.69 per bottle, or under 12 cents per load for the larger bottles.
  • Old Navy, GAP, or Banana Republic gift cards -- Spend $100 or more, get $15 back in Extra Bucks.  If you plan on shopping at any of these stores during tax-free weekend, I strongly suggest snagging this deal!

  1. the coupon for dawn is only for .25 or is it really for .50

    1. The Hand Renewal variety has its own separate coupon for 50 cents off in the same insert -- otherwise, if you just want plain Dawn, use the 25 cents off coupon and get yours for 74 cents! :D
